Perhaps if he agreed to live at Ted Thompson's house for the rest of the season and was not allowed to leave his bedroom.

If Smith didn't pass the Green Bay litmus test.. how the hell is Rainman going to... lol.

I think PacMan's reign in the NFL has past..

I agree that Adam's career is most likely over, but your comparison is way off base. Two completely different situations.

I'd still rather him returning punts than Jordy or Tramon. I feel both of them are too valuable to our team to be exposed back there.

Little fucker cant play corner....no reason to bring him on. His "highlight" reel is that of multiple burns for touchdowns.

Maybe a place like Green Bay would change him....There are a lot less people that can be killed in Green Bay than in any other major city.

Really? I only seen him a few times and he did well.

As for comments no how bad of a person he is. We picked up Andre Rison years back and he turned out okay for us.

The two parts of Smith being rejected as reported was MM didn't care for Smith's attitude and he was kind of a freelancing player. If MM didn't care for Smith cocky attitude, imagine his dismay in dealing with the holier than thou Jones. The freelancing stuff.. maybe, but they play different positions, CB in man up is almost all freelance.. zone not at all..

Either way.. Smith attitude was reportedly a problem.. I think my comparison in that nature is not off base.

Who reported Smith had an attitude problem and/or that Mike didn't like his attitude? And if that's true, why did they put a claim in on him a few weeks ago? From what I've read and heard about Smith, it was his groin injury that was nagging him and his propensity to freelance that cost him his job with the Packers.

Jones is more of a problem based on his history than Smith. I don't question that. But putting them on the same level is absurd. When was Smith arrested? When was Smith suspended for a year and then some? When did Smith attempt a professional wrestling career? I could go on, but the point is made. I'll add this too, I'd rather Smith than Jones. Smith is taken, Jones, is not and most likely for very good reasons.

Even so, I'd rather Adam Jones returning punts than Tramon or Jordy. That's not going to change. Unless, Trevor or Josh prove to be better than Tramon at covering receivers.

I think you are missing the point... I don't consider Smith and Jones on the same level.. not even close.. hence the point where Jones wouldn't be considered to be part of the Packers team.

Smtih attitude report.. here.
