I could go on about this topic. I love history... But I have to keep this short... I have a plane to catch.

I am heading to Copenhagen.

I just read that the Mayor of Copenhagen had a press conference asking all attendees for "The World Climate Summit COP15" not to use the cities prostitutes.

The Prostitutes are responding in a true European protest fashion...

The prostitutes will not be charging for sex at all. Everything is free during the United Nations Ccnference.

See ya... I have a plane to catch.

True Rock. I have NO say over what North Korea does. If i did, that nut job would have never acquired nukes in the first place.
I never said to "bomb the shit out of them". We SHOULD have gone in and stopped him BEFORE he got the nukes. Now it's too late. The horse has left the barn. Closing the door now won't help.
And the UN......please tell me what good they have ever done? They are the "Barney Fife" of the world. They try to seem like they have power, but they have none. Only those that care about the UN will listen to them. Those that are bad people don't give a damn what the UN says.

I edited out my previous posts because I didn't want this to get into an argument over America, that isn't what this topic is about. Honestly, I think all of my complaints about Europe's attitude can be applied to humanity in general. We all need to take a step back and look at things from a different perspective. Realize that people think differently, were raised differently, and live in different societies. We're all free to think our country or our heritage is the best, and a certain amount of pride is healthy. When we run into problems is when pride boils over into putting other people and societies down. I guess right now I just want to try to see the good in things, too much in life to stress about.

"The world will find peace.... When the last dictator is strangled to death with the entrails of the last priest."

Now... Listen. I go to Mass. Those are not my words....

I just find the statement rather interesting....

The Germans have been responsible for "The Great War" and WWII total casualties... Over 83 Million casualties.

The world agreed to separate the country of Germany and committed to never again allow them to unite again. Now the world has reunited Germany. Time changes thinking...

A dictator in N. Korea. A Dictator lead country of billions in China. Religion... Muslim based hatred of Christianity and priests..... The hatred of Jews continues... Even in America.

It is most often about Dictators and Religion.

The atrocities of the Japanese during WWII (especially during the showa era) is hidden, or diluted to most people today. The Germans executed 20 million Jews... Big News... You will never stop hearing about it. The Japanese slaughtered 30 million in Asia. Never a thought.

Here in America... Yah... We kicked the shit out of each other. 1 Million and 100 thousand casualties.. But at least it was a freaking bar fight. Mano De Mano. It had nothing to do with taking over the freaking world.

Here in Canada... Oh we were there, at the battle of The Somme in WWII, landing on Juno Beach on D-Day. For Canada it had nothing to do with taking over the freaking world, it was about preventing the take over of the world.

The French... Fuck most of them... The have no freaking appreciation for all of the English speaking boys who are buried in thousands of unmarked graves under the soil they farm and cultivate today from two world wars.

As Patton stated: "I would rather have two German Divisions in front of me, than one French Division behind me."

The Bottom line is this...

Canada and the USA never caused any of this shit. And it kills me that many people in the world today look at North America as an evil entity. It pisses me off that some Europeans have to have Obama to feel a little bit better about the USA today.

That makes me nauseated.

Two final thoughts...

I respect and love the people of Holland, they appreciate what we have done for them in History.

The Swiss. Money grabbing pukes who who hid billions of dollars of German gold stolen, even from the extracted teeth of holocaust victims and they shipped that cash to Germans in Argentina after WWII After taking their commission on transactions of course..

Just a generalized shoutout to Marine Brethren and some Belgian Paratroops.

I got five bucks that says I'm the only member of this forum that has ever even heard of Kismayu. That is just one small example of how a jarhead will roll through life. I rag on the Europeans, including the French, but it would amaze most at just how many of these types of ops occur, in just such a manner, almost invariably flying below the radar of our respective countries radar and consciousness.

Thing is, the jarheads and the Belgian doggies were paying attention, lol.

There is no oil there, btw.

U.S., Belgium Take Control in Kismayu Chicago Sun-Times | December 21, 1992 | Copyright

U.S. Marines and Belgian paratroopers poured ashore Sunday at the southern Somalia city of Kismayu and took control of its port and airport.

The seizure of Kismayu reopened a key food-shipping route. Clan fighting and looting had kept the port closed for months, reducing the flow of aid to a trickle.

With Cobra helicopter gunships over Kismayu and FA-18 Hornet fighter-bombers and A-6 Intruder attack planes streaking above, the first 180 Marines splashed onto the beach in amphibious vehicles early Sunday.
They were followed by 90 paratroopers of Belgium's 1st Airborne Battalion in U.S. ...

Someone asked further up the chain for a reason as to why we went into Iraq. How about two....

1. World intelligence agencies told us that Saddam had weapons of mass destruction...reason enough. Now...these agencies had their facts mixed up, but then that is exactly what Saddam fostered when he kept the spineless U.N. out of his facilities to enforce their spineless resolutions....only one conclusion could be made under such circumstances...and it was made. Never mind that caravan after caravan of trucks are seen by sattrelite leaving Iraq for Syria....what might have been on those trucks??

2. Whether you wish to acknowledge it or not (most grown ups who have witnesses decades of murder and torture by Muslim extremists do acknowledge the following), there is a looming confrontation between the East and West. Iraq, strategically, is central to all command and supply functions for such a confrontation.

Oh...and for those of you who have received a "modern and progressive" education, you might be suprised to learn that the big, bad crusades were actually a response to Muslim agression into Europe.

European nations, with their bloated social spending, will learn just how good they had it now that Barry is rolling back military spending, forcing them to have to decide whether to pay for an increasingly dependent welfare-addled populace , or their own security.

Let the games begin!

Digs - My son is in high school and I had to correct his view on the crusades. It's amazing the politically correct crap they teach kids nowadays. It's like programming.

That said, I was against the Iraq War. Yes, Saddam is a **** and deserved to die a horrible death. That part I'm not arguing. The part I'm arguing is it's not worth several thousand American lives. I don't give a flying **** about Iraq, the Iraqi people, etc. I care about American lives. Now anyone who thinks that's prejudice in any way is an idiot as America is the most diverse nation in the entire freaking world.

If this is really a humanitarian thing about going after dictators, then why aren't we in North Korea, China, and Equatorial Guinea (a country most Americans have never even heard of)? And WMD, North Korea has them and as bad as Saddam was, North Korea's guy makes him look like a teddy bear.

But then again, I think like Ron Paul, who thinks like the Founding Fathers. You don't see that in either wing of the Republicrat party.

dfosterf (13-Aug) : a lower back injury
dfosterf (13-Aug) : Doubs says he's "fine" after injury scare. Some reported it as z
Mucky Tundra (13-Aug) : With LVN that is; need to see what happens in the next practice
Mucky Tundra (13-Aug) : beast, reading about what happened, it sounded like one of those "two guys collide and are moving slow afterwards" type of deals
beast (12-Aug) : I believe Musgrave has been injured every single season since at least a Sophomore in highschool
packerfanoutwest (12-Aug) : Matt LaFleur: “Highly unlikely” Jordan Love plays more this preseason
dfosterf (12-Aug) : Doubs, Savion Williams, LVN, Musgrave all banged up to one degree or another, missing one here I forget
Zero2Cool (12-Aug) : RB Tyrion Davis-Price is signing with the Green Bay Packers.
Zero2Cool (12-Aug) : zero help, dominated. preseason
beast (12-Aug) : QB Jordan Love has surgery
beast (12-Aug) : Martha said Morgan had a lot of help, I didn't watch the OL so I can't say.
Zero2Cool (10-Aug) : Packers LT Jordan Morgan did not allow a single pressure across 23 pass-blocking snaps vs. Jets last night, per PFF
Mucky Tundra (10-Aug) : With buckeye and the reasonable couple, we're currently sitting at 10
buckeyepackfan (10-Aug) : Just posted to re-up on our FFL.
Zero2Cool (10-Aug) : If healthy after, then thats all I care. Well, no drops would be nice
wpr (10-Aug) : I made it through the 1st Q.
dfosterf (10-Aug) : Just gotta figure out how.
dfosterf (10-Aug) : Could have been a worse start, so there is that.

Mucky Tundra (10-Aug) : Sooooooo many penalties
Mucky Tundra (10-Aug) : It may only be preseason, but this game is a trip to the dentist

Zero2Cool (9-Aug) : Woo-hoo
TheKanataThrilla (9-Aug) : NFL Network is broadcasting the game tonight, but not in Canada. Not sure why as no local television is showing the game.
beast (8-Aug) : But the Return from IR designations had to be applied by the 53 man cutdown.
beast (8-Aug) : It's a new rule, so it's not clear, but my understanding was that they could be IR'd at any time
Mucky Tundra (8-Aug) : *had to be IRed at 53
Mucky Tundra (8-Aug) : beast, I thought the designate return from IR players had to be IR at cutdowns to 53, not before
beast (8-Aug) : It's a brand new rule, either last season or this season, prior, all pre-season IRs were done for the season
beast (8-Aug) : But the Packers would have to use one for their return from IR spots on him, when they cut down to 53.
beast (8-Aug) : I think the NFL recently changed the IR rules, so maybe the season might not be over for OL Glover.
Zero2Cool (8-Aug) : Packers star Howton, first NFLPA prez, dies at 95 😔
dfosterf (8-Aug) : Apparently it is too complicated for several to follow your simple instructions, but I digress
dfosterf (8-Aug) : Zero- Did you see what I posted about Voice of Reason and his wife? She posted over at fleaflicker that they are both "In"
Zero2Cool (7-Aug) : Well, not crazy, it makes sense. Crazy I didn't notice/find it earlier
Zero2Cool (7-Aug) : it's crazy how one stored procedure to get data bogged everything down for speed here
dfosterf (7-Aug) : to herd cats or goldfish without a bowl. They reminded me of the annual assembly of our fantasy league
dfosterf (7-Aug) : out on a field trip, outfitting them with little yellow smocks. Most of the little folk were well behaved, but several were like trying
dfosterf (7-Aug) : Yesterday my wife and I spent the afternoon on the waterfront here in Alexandria, Va. A daycare company took about 15 three/four year olds
wpr (7-Aug) : seems faster. yay
dfosterf (7-Aug) : Wife of reason posted on the in/out thread on fleaflicker that both she and vor are in
Zero2Cool (7-Aug) : This page was generated in 0.135 seconds.
