i tink the fact that the packers are 8-4 in spite of a subpar o line and an oakland raiders-ish number of penalties speaks to not only how good they are, but how good theyre going to be.

I threw it all in my personal computer. The one between my ears, not the one I'm typing on.

We are a dangerous football team. We are a dangerous football team to our opponent, and to ourselves. We have so many variables going on all at once that it is almost impossible to get a truly accurate read on where we are, or where we might go as this season comes to a climax.

It is going to be fun, but scary, too. Now I'm getting a little pissed because our offensive line seems to have unscrewed itself to a degree that we might start looking elsewhere in the draft, etc. next year. That alone is a scary concept. :thumbleft:

You have to ask yourself how good would we be if we could repair our penalty problem, or the special teams problems, or the...

One thing I'm pretty sure of, looking at the schedule. I'm going to be a Redskin fan far more than I care to be in the next few weeks. :thumbleft:

Agreed, but you have to look at those penalties, that line, and the special teams fiascoes we have every week, too. I'd have GB 4th in the NFC right now behind NO, Min, and Arz. None of the East teams have shown enough consistency to move ahead of GB. I'd still have them behind SD and Cin, though. San Diego is flying under the radar even though they've won seven straight, and Cincy beat us head to head and hasn't really fallen off since. I'd have Ind-NO-Min-SD-Cin-Arz-GB-Phi-NE-NYG as my top ten. The Giants are the one team that could really move all over my list. When they decide to play defense they can beat anybody, but when they are off they can get blown out by anybody.

i still dont really buy cincy. theyve beaten balt and pitt twice, but neither has looked particularly good this year. after that, what? they beat us at the beginning of the year when we were giving up 23 sacks per game, and then.... detroit, chicago, and cleveland twice. im not saying theyre not a good team, but elite? no.

hahahaha. the cardinals beat the vikings...we got spanked twice. the chargers have one seven games in a row. the bengals beat us. this is either a gb newspaper's website drinkin the kool aid or it was created by a packer fan. i'm lovin it but it's just not accurate at all.

And you have a 'accurate' power ranking? Do show us, I'm very interested in this. I'd also like to know how each ranking was slotted. I've been curious on these methods for sometime. I'm glad you have stepped up to the plate.
