http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2009/12/24/report-shanahan-would-be-extremely-interested-in-bears-job/

According to ESPNChicago.com, a "close friend" of Shanahan's says that the former Broncos coach would be "extremely interested" in the Bears' head-coaching job.

Looks like he's just using them as leverage to get the Redskins job, but damn. My greatest fear is Shanahan or Cowher ending up in the division. LOL. Dunno how we've dodged that so far.

I'm not worried about it,
The Green Bay Packers are on the cusp of greatness.
The next 4 years of whoever is the coach of the other 3 teams in the division are going to suck our hind end.

Shanahan to Bears would be cool.

More years we can say, "The Bears Still Suck."

He'll have no more success in Chicago than Ditka had in New Orleans. 🙂

I love how you purple guys think winning the NFC north is an accomplishment. If you are one and out in the playoffs again, you should just quit talking, this being your all in year and everything. BTW we are on the cusp of greatness, at least we have our franchise quarterback in place, like usual.

Last 2 years, the Vikings are 3-1 against your Pack. You can stay on the cusp of greatness, too. BTW, you could be one unfortunate play from losing your franchise QB.. Then what? Flynn? Who?

And that while Brian Hoyer, Seneca Wallace, Tarvaris Jackson and Brodie Croyle will most likely tear up the league when they have to step in.

I can think of just a few back-ups that I would actually trust to manage the game for me at this point. Byron Leftwich and Mark Brunell for instance.

Mucky Tundra (11h) : *to be able
Mucky Tundra (11h) : and because it's not a dynasty league (which makes a lot more sense to be ability to trade picks)
Mucky Tundra (11h) : Oh I know; I was just exploring and it blew my mind that you could trade picks because of the whole reordering thing
Mucky Tundra (11h) : Zero, I think I preferred my offer: your 1st for my 15th rounder
Zero2Cool (12h) : Keep in mind, we do a draft reorder once all members locked in
Zero2Cool (12h) : You can have my 12th Rd for your 2nd round

beast (2-Aug) : I believe it's technically against the CBA rules, but Jerry just calls it a simple unofficial chat... and somehow gets away with it.
beast (2-Aug) : Jerry Jones is infamous for ̶n̶e̶g̶o̶t̶i̶a̶t̶i̶n̶g̶ chatting with players one on one... and going around the agent.
Mucky Tundra (1-Aug) : Oo just saw a blurb saying that Dallas negotiated directly with Parsons and not through his agent
Mucky Tundra (1-Aug) : I assumed that both guys will get paid, just a matter of when or how we get there
Zero2Cool (1-Aug) : McLaurin nor Micah going anywhere. They will get money
