Cribbs wants a trade - out of all the positions we need the most; its a decent KR/PR guy.

Heck he can be a back up rb also (have a feeling we might let a FB go this next year.)

what ya think? pay some money and get a good (if not the best) KR/PR in the league?

I would love Cribbs, i think he is the type of player we need.

Child please, Liek this will happen. Think about the 2 gms involved. Ted Thompson and Mike Holmgren, Holmgren wanted the GM job and coach in Green Bay he was turned down and then they brought in Ted Thompson as a gm. Plus Ted Thompson won't give up anything to bring in a major asset to a team. I see the Browns wanting atleast a 2nd for him if not a 1st. If we make it past this weekend i say give up that 1st because we will be late first round anyway.

I said i would be a Ted Thompson backer if he could pull this off, but i don't see it happening.
Just Imagine this for the next 6-9 years. What a ride it will be 🙂 (PS, Zero should charge for this)

I find it amusing that you would weight the acquisition of a punt/kick returner over the landing of a franchise quarterback.

I remembering hearing Holmgren say he really wanted to keep Cribbs and that Cribbs actually wants to stay. I could be wrong, I just remember hearing it.

That said, Cribbs isn't worth the money. We wouldn't have a place to put him on offense with all the playmakers we have and Blackmon will be returning next year.

Be weary of getting players by FA for next year due to the probable lockout that will occur next year.

Just read PFT. Guess he said goodbye to everyone in Cleveland lol. That's kind of a dumbshit thing to do thought when you're still under contract..

To be honest, I kind of agree with Holmgren in that I don't see him as having that much value on offense. He's definitely not a centerpiece guy, maybe a Percy Harvin type deal if you're lucky. Someone is definitely going to overspend on the guy and I hope it's not us.

You can't be serious even coming close to comparing Cribbs and Blackmon. Cribbs has been doing this for a few years now not just once in a great while like Blackmon. Cribbs is better than Jones and Nelson combined.

Have to agree here.

Blackmon had one good season as a punt returner and looked very mediocre this year, although you can't say a whole lot about just 3 returns.

Cribbs is just the best returner in the league right now. It all comes down to how you evaluate the position. If you think highly of KR/PR guys, this guy might be worth as much as #5 million per year. He's that good.

It's just that most GMs don't. And I don't think Ted does. I don't see him coming to the Packers.

Zero2Cool (5h) : I'm not sure how to kill the draft order just yet so it's not so confusing.
Mucky Tundra (14h) : *to be able
Mucky Tundra (14h) : and because it's not a dynasty league (which makes a lot more sense to be ability to trade picks)
Mucky Tundra (14h) : Oh I know; I was just exploring and it blew my mind that you could trade picks because of the whole reordering thing
Mucky Tundra (14h) : Zero, I think I preferred my offer: your 1st for my 15th rounder
Zero2Cool (15h) : Keep in mind, we do a draft reorder once all members locked in
Zero2Cool (16h) : You can have my 12th Rd for your 2nd round

beast (2-Aug) : I believe it's technically against the CBA rules, but Jerry just calls it a simple unofficial chat... and somehow gets away with it.
beast (2-Aug) : Jerry Jones is infamous for ̶n̶e̶g̶o̶t̶i̶a̶t̶i̶n̶g̶ chatting with players one on one... and going around the agent.
Mucky Tundra (1-Aug) : Oo just saw a blurb saying that Dallas negotiated directly with Parsons and not through his agent
Mucky Tundra (1-Aug) : I assumed that both guys will get paid, just a matter of when or how we get there
Zero2Cool (1-Aug) : McLaurin nor Micah going anywhere. They will get money
Mucky Tundra (1-Aug) : the Synder years or do they take care of one of their own?
Mucky Tundra (1-Aug) : Do the Commanders risk losing a top WR with an emerging QB just because he's turning 30 and potentially risk damaging the rebuild from
Mucky Tundra (1-Aug) : Turns 30 this September, plays at a high level and Washington has some cap space I believe
Mucky Tundra (1-Aug) : More interesting is Washington with Terry McLaurin
Mucky Tundra (1-Aug) : I would imagine Dallas will resolve this issue with a truckload of money
Zero2Cool (1-Aug) : Micah pulling a Myles with trade request

Mucky Tundra (30-Jul) : Zero, regarding Ewers, you are correct.
Zero2Cool (30-Jul) : Sadly, this might be our life for awhile. I could put it on another host, but seems it was slower, although more stable
beast (30-Jul) : How long will it be down?
beast (30-Jul) : RIP site 😭
Zero2Cool (30-Jul) : Site will die, I have to restart it.
Zero2Cool (30-Jul) : Quinn stinks. Lot of underthrows. (my guess)
beast (30-Jul) : How did Quinn Ewers effect where Golden was drafted?
dfosterf (30-Jul) : All I've experienced was late at night or early morning. I just figured you were doing something in the background
Zero2Cool (30-Jul) : Site sure seems to be down more than up
dfosterf (29-Jul) : 50 cent hookers? I'm moving to Green Bay. I thought it was just real estate that was more affordable there. 😂
Zero2Cool (29-Jul) : Sure seems site going down more than 50¢ hooker
