Bulaga has two starts. Colledge has over 50. I think people need to slow down with their worries.

Furthermore, the five sacks is a bit misleading. I would say at least two (probably three) were on Rodgers. He bails out of the pocket way too early. I have no idea why. Well, I know he doesn't have confidence in his line, so he has happy feet because of that, but a couple of those were just ridiculous. Honestly, I thought one of those plays was a designed run.

Rodgers needs better pocket presence. Yes, the pass protection is to blame for Rodgers' lack of confidence in them, but they aren't to blame all the time.

All in all, I'm happy Bulaga is matching up with Ray Edwards next week and not Allen Babre or Daryn Colledge. I think that's the best way to put it.

I've never chipped a tooth but I've bit my tongue while getting slammed down and have had 2 concussions. I can tell you first hand that those experiences are memorable. Not in a good way.

As for Bulaga, someone mentioned sides. Mike McCarthy said years ago that he thinks in terms of sides (left side vs right side) over Tackle vs Guard. I wish he kept with that original plan.

This isn't just the Miami game though that he's done this. Dating back to last season, Rodgers gives up on the line too early. I understand the offensive line sucks, but when they do get a guy blocked, that is not the time to bail out.

I remember when people were scared that the offensive line's issues were going to affect Rodgers as a QB. I think we can say we've reached that point.

I'm not excusing Aaron, don't get me wrong. I am scolding the OL though.

In the offseason, I think Aaron Rodgers needs to have a long one-on-one talk with Dan Marino. Marino, like Favre, is slower than my Grandma. But he never got sacked not because he had an elite OL (like Tom Brady has now and P Manning has had for the majority of his career), but because Marino had the world's fastest release.

Watch the tape, they did give Bulaga help a bunch of times, just so happens nothing bad happened those plays. You can't give him help 100% of the plays, at some point players have to be players and win 1-on-1 battles.
