We need to win the important ones: Giants - Bears - Lions & Niners.

Niners & Lions are pretty much a lock but we never know what can happen any given sunday.

Now the giants game really scares me. If we can win that one I'm sure we can finish of the bears at home and take division lead !!!

Bears will lose to 'Queens & Patriots ... we can even knock them out of the playoffs ...

* Good thing is they got the Vikings @ the metrodome and a game @ Lambeau :profileright:

If we win out we we'll win the division no matter what the Bears do in their other games (we would win the tiebreaker on conference schedule, if you'd like me to break that process down I can). Take care of business and it doesn't matter what the standings are now.

Here's why:

Week 12

3) Eagles (2) - Head to Head win over Giants
4) Rams (10) - Head to Head win over Seahawks

Wild Cards
5) Saints (5) - Greater winning % than Giants
6) Giants (8) - Better Strength of Victory .390 than Buccaneers

The Rest
7) Buccaneers (7) - Greater Conference Record 5-2 than Packers 5-3
8) Packers (6) - Greater winning % than Seahawks
9) Seahawks (4) - Greater Conference Record 4-3 than Redskins 4-4
10) Redskins (9) - Greater winning % than vikings
11) vikings (11) - Greater Conference Record than 49'ers
12) 49'ers (12) - Greater Winning % than Cardinals
13) Cardinals (13) - Better Strength of Victory than Cowboys
14) Cowboys (14) - Greater winning % than Lions
15) Lions (14) - Greater winning % than Panthers
16) Panthers (16) -

AFC

Division Leaders
1) Jets (1) - Head to Head win over Patriots
2) Ravens (2) - Head to Head Win over Steelers
3) Chiefs (3) - Head to Head win over Jaguars
4) Jaguars (4)- Head to Head win over Colts

Wild Cards
5) Patriots (5) - Greater winning % than Steelers 9-2 > 8-3
6) Steelers (6) - Greater winning % than Colts 8-3 > 6-5

The Rest
7) Chargers (11) - Head to Head win over Colts
8) Colts (7) - Better Strength of Victory .439 than Dolphins .379
9) Dolphins (8) - Greater winning % .545 than Texans .455
10) Texans (12) - Head to Head wins over Titans and Raiders
11) Titans (9) - Head to Head win over Raiders
12) Raiders (10)- Greater winning % than Browns
13) Browns (14) - Greater winning % than Broncos
14) Broncos (13) - Greater winning % than Bills
15) Bills (15) - Head to Head win over Bengals
16) Bengals (16)

The Packers missed their chance to be the #1 seed in the NFC. However, they play the Giants at home as well as the Bears. Don't forget the Packers have the tiebreaker over the Eagles and only one team the NFC South can be a division winner.

Things will look a lot better in 2 weeks.

We can still go into week 17 down a game and still win the division correct?

That could be true but isn't now.

Right now in common games Chicago beat Miami while the Packers lost.

The Bears have to lose to an opponent the Packers have beaten (Jets, Vikings) or the Packers have to beat the Giants to make the common games even before the final showdown.

Both have to play the Patriots and Lions so a Packer win and a Bears loss against one of them could be the make up game.

After common games Strength of Victory and Strength of Schedule favor the Packers. One of the Bears wins was against Carolina and the Packers lost to AFC South Atlanta. The Bears lost to Seattle so a Packer victory over NFC West 49'ers will ensure the Packers win the division if everything else in tied.

So it will not get to lower priority tiebreakers like points differential and Net Touchdowns where the Packers are way ahead.

No need to worry yet.

Too much season is left to worry about all that.
IF the Packers get their stuff together, we will be ok. If not, we will be watching the playoffs.

I am convinced this team will make the playoffs as division winners.

As I have kept saying over and over we have lost 4 games total by 4 FG's. 2 last second FG's and 2 O/T FG's.

This team is 4 plays from being 11 - 0 with no running game and more injuries than you can shake a stick at (to quote a British phrase)

I still believe we can go all the way despite all of the above. Remember the Ravens won a Superbowl solely on the back of their Defence.

We can win it all with just our passing game.

Just belive and it will happen.

Mucky Tundra (4-Aug) : Zero, I think I preferred my offer: your 1st for my 15th rounder
Zero2Cool (4-Aug) : Keep in mind, we do a draft reorder once all members locked in
