1)The defeat of the Bears puts the Packers into the playoffs
2)The Bears provided the blueprint of how to beat the "Michael Vick"
lead Eagles.

Aaron and squad accomplished beating the Eagles in week1 w/Kolb.
He's going to be facing a totally different team w/Mike Vick.

The Bears really handled the Eagles like the Redskins and Giants
couldn't do.

Vick is more disciplined than he was back in Atlanta, but he's prone still to
mistakes that elite QB's don't make. Chicago exposed that.

Woody/Trammond match up well against Deshawn and Maclin.
Clay can cause problems for Mike Vick, and our 3-4 will work well
against their crazy running back.

Aaron knows how to attack this philly defense.

I like the chances in Philly. I see a rematch with Chicago in 2 weeks.

Nice read Cal all the way to the rematch part, it would have to be in 3 weeks because if we win we will have to play the Falcons again in Atlanta
Just Imagine this for the next 6-9 years. What a ride it will be 🙂 (PS, Zero should charge for this)

Beating Vick comes down to bringing pressure while still containing the edges, he's going to throw a pick or 2 and make some questionable decisions. With the job Capers has been doing the last few weeks I think the D will come with a great gameplan and execute it. ESpecially if that Walden kid plays like he did this evening!

He didn't say "facing a different team IN Mike Vick" which would imply someone is facing Mike Vick, rather he said "facing a different team WITH Mike Vick" which implies that someone is facing a different team.

Now that we've covered what I wasn't asking, how about the question I asked?

Containment and pressure will be key next week

LOL - I though this was a thread on how Lovie helped us out by
1. Going for it on 4th down and
2. Calling the TO on 3rd down after they converted for the first.

Also, I think the Falcons are on the table for the divisional round.

Actually, it was a typo on my part. I was trying to say "we are facing a different team w/Michael Vick". The pack as a whole.

I was just highlighting how the Eagles team has evolved since week one when Kolb was the starting QB and how they are under Vick.

I want a rematch with Atlanta.

Even more fun would be Aaron Rodgers holding up the George Halas Trophy at Soldier Field.

Mucky Tundra (1-Aug) : Turns 30 this September, plays at a high level and Washington has some cap space I believe
Mucky Tundra (1-Aug) : More interesting is Washington with Terry McLaurin
