Didn't Hasselbeck go to the Seahawks for a 1st-round pick? I'd be surprised if Flynn commanded a higher price than a 3rd, but I guess the take-home lesson is you never know. If the Packers can get a 2nd-round pick for him, they should snap it up. The Patriots have 3 of the top 33 picks, so it would be nice to at least somewhat keep pace with them. Of course, in a year in which the Packers are going to have an extraordinary number of players coming off IR, and given that he's already signed 8 players to the 80-man squad, it's possible Ted Thompson will be more focused on trading for quality than quantity.

A high 2nd round pick would go a long way to trading back up into the 1st round! =)

However, there is going to be some serious talent available throughout the 2nd round. Should be exciting, especially for Patriot fans!

Moving up in the first would be nice, packaging 2 2nds or a second and a player would be even nicer, very similar to 2009 (see Raji and Clay), i think it's safe to say they worked out fairly well 😉
