Mia had her six month MRI scan a couple weeks ago and once again it came back negative, which means there is no tumor growing back and it looks like we are getting closer to the edge of the woods. They use a rule of thumb of five years to consider her cancer free, but it appears for now that her original diagnosis of making a full recovery is quite possible.

Today through Wednesday we are back in hospital for round 4 of 9 of her chemo treatments. She isn't terribly affected by these treatments, which I don't understand cause they should be knocking her on her ass; but she just tolerates them and continues on with her life. The one bad thing is that her head is as bald as a baby's ass right now and she isn't happy because she lost all the hair that had been coming back. It makes me kind of sad as well.

Anyway, keep praying for her guys; September isn't too far off - and I'm thinking about a family pilgrimage to Lambeau in October if I can line up some tickets. A little help with that would be really apreciated.

Prayers are in constant flow your way. But I'm not sending any money to send you people to Lamblow. Not now. Not ever.

It gladdens my heart to hear that Mia's last MRI scan went well.
She has been in my prayers.

My thoughts have been and will continue be with you and all of your family Troy.
And while I will not pretend that I know how you are dealing with this, personally I think that you are one hell of a Dad.

I may be a prick most of the time, but when it comes to kids, I'm pretty much a marshmallow.

Give Mia a hug from one crusty old Vikings fan.

glad to hear the great news and hope you dont mind I put it on Greg Jennings facebook pages.

Also my cousin says just let him know what game he should be able to hook you up. How many tickets btw?
Just Imagine this for the next 6-9 years. What a ride it will be 🙂 (PS, Zero should charge for this)

You know I'm a lot more comfortable being your tick turd from North Dakota than accepting any kind of compliment from you.

As far as being a good father, I don't know, I guess I do all right. I'm ashamed sometimes that I work too long of hours and don't spend enough time with them. You see my father was a sack of dung when it came to providing and I am extremely driven to give my children a good start in life. Julie and I receive a lot of praise from people for how we have maintained our lives through this major inconvenience, I get conflicted on how warranted that should be because anyone would have done the things we have. I guess we just accepted our plight quickly and stuck our nose to the grindstone. Mia's physical rehab is what is going to take the real work, and all of that lies ahead.
