I had hopes for him as a Packer and a person. His stupidity seems boundless though. Now, maybe he'll be able to get help just as a person.

PFT theorized that the lack of random drug testing by the NFL due to the current lockout situation may have "enabled" him a bit. Yeah, that and an apparent complete lack of brain function.

What is the contract status of Johnny Jolly? I thought Packers held his rights, but that was only because the CBA required 6 years before a player could be a free agent. I don't believe he's under contract at all and if the new CBA (or whatever) says its 4 years, like it was previously, he's nothing to us.

Of course, he was not found with 600 mg of codeine, per se, but rather with a container that weighed 600 mg and also contained codeine. Under Texas law, he can be charged as though the entire weight of the container were pure codeine.
