Packers get 4th round compensatory Pick for Kampann

I guess the title of the thread says it all.

3rd round money but he got injured and did not put up the stats so a 4th round pick. Last pick in the fourth round or 131 overall. Better than the fifth round pick they used for Kampmann that they got in the Javon Walker draft day trade.

Could it be another Josh Sitton? We will see.

And LBers need to be physical in this 3-4 or they're going to be like Barnett... can fly all around but can't get off blocks and won't attack blocks.. which this defense needs of it's LBers.

Casey is an ILB in the 3-4 defense and not a 3-4 OLB. So, Casey would ride the bench for the Pack.

You can't trade comp picks, but the Packers didn't draft Kampman under Ted Thompson or from the Javon Walker trade. Mike Sherman actually picked him. One of the few quality picks he made. Thought that was worth pointing out.

We could take casey matthews even with this pick could even be a steal but yes he would be on the bench.

I don't think you should expect a late 4th round pick to come in and start day 1...especially on the super bowl champions.

Don't be surprised if we do tak an ILB in this draft. MM already said its a possibility that Barnett and Chillar won't be back.
