Just booked the hotel for this Friday night.

Friday, leave work, go home, get girls, drive to South Dakota, crash at the hotel and Saturday morning see as much as I can humanly see. 🙂

It should be a great weekend. And just remember that even if your kids complain about anything you're still giving them an awesome experience they'll never forget. I can't remember about how many times I whined about some of our family trips when I was kid but looking back on them now is amazing.

We're at the hotel now. It was pretty awesome driving in, even at night. Went to Rapid City for dinner. Going down "into" Mount Rushmore towards the hotel, I ended up getting pulled over for not having plates, go figure. He realized we were from out of state to check out the sites and just gave me a verbal warning. I was not even looking at the speedometer because I was too busy holding the brakes and keeping the car between the lines. haha.
