Nobody ever talks about the missile that hit the pentagon on 9/11.

I've read quite a few comments on this from various "media" outlets and it's the cynic's that have nothing better to do with their time than find ways to delude any government "achievement" that make me think, no wonder politicians are so corrupt, no matter how good they do, it's never good enough. Just goes to re-enforce the saying, you can't make everyone happy. And this just shows the turds always rise to the top to get their attention with their cynical asinine remarks. Oh but they preach "I'm just open minded!".

can i get a hallelujiah & amen?? WOW!! i've tried to say this many times before but you have said it so much better than i ever could!

no amount of money would ever...EVER entice me to run for any damn office. i've had several mothers push me into running for PTO president at the boys school - no f'in way!!
the cynicism is rampant.
if the country isn't how we like it, guess what? it's OUR damn faults.
if we don't like our liberties being taken away from us, guess what? it's OUR damn faults.
easy to blame the gov't but damn hard to blame ourselves, isn't it?
wake up people - WE did this - not one president, past or present - WE are all to blame.

Well....all the "hoopla" over him getting proper religious treatment....have you heard the most recent? Even though he was given a 40 minute service, the body was washed and all, they are complaining that he didn't get "proper treatment" as he was killed on land and should have been buried on land. Can you friggin believe that crap???
How many "religious rights" did he give to those MURDERED on 9/11?
Did he make sure the Christians he killed had Christian burail? The Jews proper Jewish burial? The Muslims proper Muslim burials???
NOPE.
Just ordered the massacre and didn't give a DAMN if it was men, women, or children. If they were here, that was reason enough to kill them.
This ass clown got better treatment then he EVER deserved.
Where he is right now is what he deserved.
I just hope he doesn't pollute the ocean he was dumped in too badly.

By the way, Cheesey, according to reports, Osama was shot in the head while resisting. Doesn't sound to me like a guy who doesn't care if he dies or not.

Yup....just like all terrorist leaders that order their followers to commit suicide bombings.
He used women as a shield, too.
REAL brave guy, hey? I think it just proves what a coward he really was.
That's what I got out of it, at least.

Agreed that the female shield was cowardly, and there many reports that ONE of his wives was at the compound. I didn't think polygamy was still permitted in Islam, could be wrong though.

None the less, though I don't disagree with your points about the treatment of the 1,000s he killed Cheesy, as I said in a previous post we need to be mindful of the group that sympathizes with this nut. The last thing we need to do is fan the flames of anti-American sentiment , thus putting ourselves in greater danger of future attacks.

That's just it though.....here we made the effort to do so, and they STILL are pissing and moaning that we didn't do it RIGHT.
They WANT reason to hate us even more.
I think they dropped him in the ocean so that he wouldn't be in a place where they could come and worship his remains.
I guess when Hitler died, the Jews should have washed his body and gave it a dignified burial, right?
The guy was a scumbag terrorist. He didn't deserve the amount of respect he got. They should be happy he got that much.
And as far as what was stated earlier in here how "his family wasn't allowed to be at the service to grieve". HUH???? Come on, did he deserve that?
I don't think he did. And i bet 99.9% of Americans would agree with me.

i don't give a shit what 'they' think - why should any of us?
spoutin their mouths off - big deal.
the country did what it needed to do with a certain amount of dignity that clearly is unknown to terrorists.

Again, I don't disagree with anything you're saying Cheesy - he's a horrible person with apparently no morals or respect for human life. Those that are pissing and moaning about how we treated him - again, they're missing the boat, but they also are nuts enough to support him, and if we didn't make a good faith effort to treat his death with some sort of dignity, it could have gotten REALLY ugly. I'm already nervous about retaliation.

I think they're nitpicking because the more extremist faction would like a place to have a shrine. There is a big difference between this and generalized outrage over us defiling his body by lighting it on fire and catapulting it into outer space or mounting the skeleton onto the front of one of our battleships.

Let me them complain. We are not savages. We are Americans. We take the high ground because it is the right thing to do. It is not in our best interest to lower ourselves to a different level.
