The Vikings had the best team in the NFL that year. The thing was, God hates the Vikings, as he showed in '09. Like in the Iliad, the Gods intervene when they have to. You can throw a spear right at someone and one of the Gods may just decide to make the spear do a 180 and hit yourself in the face instead. That is the only logical explanation of how they can possibly lose to a team they should have destroyed. On paper, they were superior in every aspect and Favre had the best year of his career.

Thus, I decided not to bet. So call me a coward. I'm fine with that. You'll never see me wear purple unless I was dressing up as Prince on Halloween.
