Either way.. this is more a product of the shortened offseason than the Packers not including him.. even if I think publicly they should have invited and allowed the rest to fall where it may.

The lockout caused the whole problem. Had there been no lockout, all the players that were Packers when they won the SB would have been still with the team when they would have had the white house visit.
Unusual circumstances caused the problem, and the Packers are not to blame for it.
The owners and the players union are to blame for any backlash that came because of the greed of both sides.

Seems like they could've invited some of those guys, but maybe it would've been too weird having a member of another team attend a team event, especially during training camp. Honestly, I care even less about this than I cared about the Super Bowl team photo flap, which was not much at all.

Zero: As Pack93z has explained, lockouts are, by definition, initiated by owners. When work stoppages are initiated by players they are called strikes.
