Tramon Williams did not practice Friday. Typically, when a player does not practice on Friday, they do not play Sunday. I think it's unlikely Tramon plays Sunday. Although Mike McCarthy was positive in his words about Tramon playing.

Yep. Didn't practice at all. Probably not going to play. I hope we don't *need* him. This should be an opportunity for Shields to really rise to the occasion, covering Steve Smith quite a bit. I hope he looks more up to speed than he did last week. Since Carolina doesn't have much for receiver behind Smith, I'd imagine Nick Collins will be supporting over the top coverage on Smith's side quite a bit.

That's ok. Let him set out and heal longer. It will make beating the Panthers slightly tougher, but won't stop up from putting up lots of points. Put Woodson and Collins on Smith, and use Bush/Burnett in Wooodson's blitz role. Bush appears to be a pretty good blitzer anyway.

Tramon's health for the long term is much more important than this Panther's game for sure. Have another great week or rehab, dude! Hopefully we will see you against da Bears!

Yeah, I hope this bruise doesn't become something more serious, like Neal's supposed "non-injury." Next think you know Tramon will be having surgery.
