C'mon man.. I've been pretty transparent about how I feel about my dad (mostly in my recent postings about his battle with cancer). You better put me up there in that list of good fathers (I challenge anyone to find a better father/dad than the one I was blessed with).

Yeah, I got in touch with my inner gay side tonight after going through this thread again. I think there are a few people in this forum that meet some of the criteria of a beautiful person.

That was one big thing my Dad taught me. NEVER to be embarrassed to show someone you love that you love them.
You know how some men can be, not wanting to show emotion. My Dad always hugged me and told me he loved me. And i could be a real bonehead at times as a kid. I SHOULD have got more spankings then i did. I'm a "hugger". I'll hug my guy friends as well as female ones. As my Dad told me, "You NEVER know when it might be the last time you see someone. You want those you love to never doubt how you feel about them."
The last time i saw my Dad alive, i hugged him and told him i loved him. The next morning he was dead and i again hugged him and told him i loved him.
I wish he was still here to give me guidence. (sp?)
He would only be 82 if he was still here.
I still miss him, and will till i die.
