This guy is the new Bill Romanowski. If a Packer player hit like that, I would want him traded or cut. His latest punishment shouldn't be a fine or suspension, they should just make him play without a helmet for a season.

The league will just give him $100K fine and no suspension and then the Rooneys will sneak the money to him for the fine. The Steelers should be paying all the costs for the medical care of all the guys he has malisciously knocked out. Or maybe the league should start fining Lebeau for his teaching methods on tackling.

They are not a hard hitting team, they are a dirty team who beats up on the weak sisters. When they have to defend the whole field, well just rewatch last year's Super Bowl.

James Harrison is a headhunter. I'm getting tired of the excuses for it in Pittsburgh too. Football is a violent enough game and the last thing we need is dirty players making malicious hits.

Week in and week out I used to bash on the dirty players, but ultimately turn my head and walk away. But now with the Lions joining in on the fun the fear I feel for our own players becomes that much more real. I hope the league gets this issue under control before someone's career is ended as a result of it.

Harrison's defense was that he thought it was OK because the QB was out of the pocket.

Technically, it is never OK to spear another player in the face. Regardless of whether they are a QB or not.

Defenseless players are also protected in and out of the pocket. WRs catching the ball or QBs throwing it.
