I've been watching the Packers site to see if they were going to have it again. I wouldn't have been able to go anyway, but wanted to keep up dated.
They didn't have it last year, and said they would this year. But now it's been scrapped, and i have a feeling they won't be doing it ever again. They didn't say so, but it sure sounds that way.
That's sad too, as it was a way for fans to get close to players from the past and present that you couldn't really get any other way. I know i sure enjoyed it the 6 years i went.
I just figured i'd post about it, in case anuy other people out there were wondering about it.

Are Family Night and Fan Fest the same thing? I think the Family Night game keeps getting cancelled due to weather, so maybe they figured instead of upsetting fans in August, they'll upset them now.

Even though I never went it sounded like a neat thing for the fans and players. Will be sorry to see it discontinued, if that's what happens. I would have been interested to go one of these years. They sold out rather quickly if I remember correctly.

Zero, Fan Fest was at the Atrium in March. Family night is the scrimmage in August.
The first Fan Fest sold out REALLY quick, tying up the phone lines at the GB ticket office. The only reason i got to go was that i drove up to GB to get the ticket in person, as i didn't have a charge card.
The first one was kind of a nightmare, as they had never done anything like that, and there were some much needed improvements. They did make improvements, and although far from perfect, was still alot of fun.
I got Aaron Rodgers autograph at Fan Fest when he was just the backup QB. At the time i didn't know what he was going to do in the NFL. Now of course, i'm VERY glad i got it then, as now it's almost impossible to get his signature.
Plus I got to meet "Trippster" at the 1st Fan Fest, and we "partied all night!"
