As I was looking for youtube video links there is one thing I noticed. It is sad to see the rockers get old and in some cases fat. That is more depressing to me than to see the film stars get old. (not by much)

The quality of video is so much better today than in the 70s or 80s but I don't want to see some of these grandpas strutting their stuff on stage.
The other draw back to watching them today is a lot of them have lost the top in of their vocal scale.

Yeah, if you went from a 30 waist to a 42, you shouldn't be shaking your boom boom in front of anyone. I saw a version of the Dokken a few years ago and the singer Don, sang everthing an octive lower and struggled with that. I was extremely disappointed, as I watched him smoke one cigarette after another.

I love a lot of REO Speedwagon's songs (even as I mock them for their sheer maudlin ridiculousness), but it is cringeworthy to listen to them live now. Kevin Cronin has lost the entire top register of his vocal range, and he doesn't even do much to hide it. I don't understand why they don't simply play the songs in a lower key more conducive to the current state of his voice, instead of having him flailing about missing notes he hasn't been able to hit in years.

Congratulations Wayne. Now, the question is....have you and your wife started knowing each others thoughts before you speak? That's when it gets scary. For example:

Bob: Hey, Donna. I was thinking. (something I rarely do) Lets'...............

Donna: Yeh, I was thinking that to. I could go for some China Garden food tonight. When.......

Bob: How about 7? We can.......

Donna: Stop at Robins (one of our daughters) on the way home and drop off her keys to her.

Best wishes and wait until you hit 47 years like Donna and me. Scary!!!!!!!

I may say, "I was wondering..."
She will reply, "me too so I looked it up. It takes 4274 licks to get to the center of a tootsie pop."
And I will ask, "What makes you think that I was thinking about a tootsie pop? I haven't even seen one in 10 years."
She will say "you just had that look on your face."
"What look?"
"The one where you wish you had a tootsie pop."
"I didn't even know I had a tootsie pop look."
"You do. It is similar to your pop tart look."
"I don't even like pop tarts."
"I know. That's how I can tell them apart."
So I will say, "Go back to your knitting and leave me alone."
She says, "It's crocheting Wayne. I have told you that every week for the past 30 years."
"Oh, well I knew it was one of the 2. I figured I had better than a 50-50 chance of being right this time since I was wrong last week too."

I hear Wayne Newton still rocks Vegas and I'm sure Elton John still puts on a good show.

I don't buy that there's an age limit for hitting the stage and putting on a good show.

Martha Careful (17h) : Congratulations Sterling Sharpe. He was terrific and I loved watching him play.
beast (2-Aug) : I believe it's technically against the CBA rules, but Jerry just calls it a simple unofficial chat... and somehow gets away with it.
beast (2-Aug) : Jerry Jones is infamous for ̶n̶e̶g̶o̶t̶i̶a̶t̶i̶n̶g̶ chatting with players one on one... and going around the agent.
Mucky Tundra (1-Aug) : Oo just saw a blurb saying that Dallas negotiated directly with Parsons and not through his agent
Mucky Tundra (1-Aug) : I assumed that both guys will get paid, just a matter of when or how we get there
Zero2Cool (1-Aug) : McLaurin nor Micah going anywhere. They will get money
Mucky Tundra (1-Aug) : the Synder years or do they take care of one of their own?
Mucky Tundra (1-Aug) : Do the Commanders risk losing a top WR with an emerging QB just because he's turning 30 and potentially risk damaging the rebuild from
Mucky Tundra (1-Aug) : Turns 30 this September, plays at a high level and Washington has some cap space I believe
Mucky Tundra (1-Aug) : More interesting is Washington with Terry McLaurin
Mucky Tundra (1-Aug) : I would imagine Dallas will resolve this issue with a truckload of money

beast (30-Jul) : How long will it be down?
beast (30-Jul) : RIP site 😭
Zero2Cool (30-Jul) : Site will die, I have to restart it.
Zero2Cool (30-Jul) : Quinn stinks. Lot of underthrows. (my guess)
beast (30-Jul) : How did Quinn Ewers effect where Golden was drafted?
dfosterf (30-Jul) : All I've experienced was late at night or early morning. I just figured you were doing something in the background
Zero2Cool (30-Jul) : Site sure seems to be down more than up
dfosterf (29-Jul) : 50 cent hookers? I'm moving to Green Bay. I thought it was just real estate that was more affordable there. 😂
Zero2Cool (29-Jul) : Sure seems site going down more than 50¢ hooker
Mucky Tundra (27-Jul) : Golden with two TDs in red zone drills today
Mucky Tundra (27-Jul) : @JacobMorley Shoutout to Quinn Ewers for allowing Matthew Golden to be available when Green Bay picked.
