He may see very few one on one matchups for the rest of the year. The other teams all know he's been winning them.

Now, hopefully CM3 getting doubled will lead to someone else getting double digit sacks. If that happens, this is gonna be a pretty awesome year for us.

It's all about the sacks, baby. Putting the opposing QB on his arse limits his ability to exploit our secondary.

Looking record at this point is a little premature. Though he has started out well. Much of the reason is not that he is being blocked different because of Perry on the other side, but more being that he is getting more chances to rush. Last year with nobody opposite of him to worry about, teams were often able to force Clay into coverage. Early this year, teams are letting clay rush and trying to test Perry in coverage more.

The world needs ditch diggers too Danny!!!

I predict Matthews will have 96 sacks. Bold prediction right?

Assuming Matthews strictly rushes against the left tackle position (he didn't vs Bears) and each left tackle remains healthy...

Seahawks- Russell Okung
Saints- Jermon Bushrod
Colts- Anthony Costanzo
Texans- Duane Brown
Rams- Rodger Saffold
Jaguars- Eugene Monroe
Cardinals- D'Anthony Batiste
Lions- Jeff Backus
Giants- Will Beatty
Vikings- Matt Kalil
Lions- Jeff Backus
Bears- J'Marcus Webb
Titans- Michael Roos
Vikings- Matt Kalil

IMO, those are some pretty solid names to be going up against each week. Some top rookies that CM3 will be facing so look for him to capitalize on their mistakes. They might be good rookies, but Matthews should expose them.

G nice job...if you're ambitious you could couple that with the QBs and their escape ability.
Why is Jerry Kramer not in the Hall of Fame?

Russell Okung
Russell Wilson- Scrambler, 12 attempts for 48 yards rushing.
5 total sacks, 11 QB hits

Saints
Jermon Bushrod
Drew Brees- Non-Scrambler, 0 attempts for 0 yards rushing.
3 total sacks, 9 QB hits

Colts
Anthony Costanzo
Andrew Luck- Non-Scrambler, 6 attempts for 30 yards rushing.
5 total sacks, 9 QB hits

Texans
Duane Brown
Matt Schaub- Non-Scrambler, 6 attempts for -5 yards rushing.
2 total sacks, 9 QB hits

Sam Bradford- Non-Scrambler, 5 attempts for 12 yards rushing.
6 total sacks, 13 QB hits

Jaguars

Cardinals
D'Anthony Batiste
Kevin Kolb- Non-Scrambler, 7 attempts for 19 yards rushing.
2 total sacks, 10 QB hits

Lions
Jeff Backus
Matt Stafford- Slight Scrambler, 2 attempts for 10 yards rushing.
3 total sacks, 6 QB hits

Giants-
Will Beatty
Eli Manningface- Non-Scrambler, 3 attempts for -2 yards rushing.
3 total sacks, 7 QB hits

Vikings
Matt Kalil
Christian Ponder- Slight Scrambler, 4 attempts for 8 yards rushing.
6 total sacks, 8 QB hits

Bears- J'Marcus Webb
Jay Cutler- Slight Scrambler, 5 attempts for 8 yards rushing.
9 total sacks (7 sacks by Packers, LOL), 14 QB hits

Titans- Michael Roos
Jake Locker- Scrambler, 4 attempts for 32 yards rushing.
2 total sacks, 8 QB hits

Small sample size to pull from really. Packers have given up 8 sacks...Matthews would have a field day with our offensive line as well.

*Edit* Added QB names with rushing stats. Really, the Packers do not face much of a threat of QBs with scrambling abilities this season. Two fastest quarterbacks they will face are Russell Wilson and Jake Locker. Andrew Luck is also fast, but is a pocket passer.
