Was I the only one screaming at Bigby to fall down after the interception?

Even play-by-play announcer Mike Tirico was screaming for Bigby to fall down, and he was an impartial observer. As good as Bigby is, he can be scary at times. He looked to me like he wanted to attempt a lateral. I hope he gets an ass-chewing from the coaches for that run.

I hate all those heads that pop up, by the way. To each his own, I guess.

I know I was. The party was over and they were turning out the lights. And Bigby was trying to pat his return stats. I just knew he was going to fumble while he was out there trying to make a big play even bigger.

This game was absolutely fantastic.

-Aaron showed he can make big plays if he needs to(the Jennings play. Gregolicious) and he showed he can manage the game as well.

- The defense played well. I wish they could have got more pressure on T Jack, but we did whack him pretty good a few times in the 4th qtr.
- That block Korey Hall laid on Darren Sharper to spring the long run by Grant was a thing of beauty. If you didn't see it, go to nfl.com and watch the highlights.
- The Greg Jennings catch. That was absolutely text book on how to go up and get a pass.

I was pretty happy with tonight peformance. If not for all the flags, the packers win this one by 10+ points. I'm pretty sure that Hawk and Kampman are going to have monster years, the front 7 was very active and was getting to Jackson almost every play in the 2nd half (except for the vikings td pass)

I don't think Aaron could of had a better game. His TD pass was magic, he's got a cannon for an arm and looked pretty calm back there.

Brandon Jackson didn't look good tonight, I'm willing to give him a pass because the Vikings are tough but next week vs. Detroit I would expect the running game to really turn it up.

The flags went both ways. There were shitty calls against both the Packers and the Vikings, so to say that the Pack should have won by 10+ is a little inflated. But you are still on the morning after high... so I guess I won't complain too much. 😉

Good God that felt good.

Jared Allen goes to Minnesota: The Chiefs have traded Pro Bowl defensive end Jared Allen to the Vikings. Citing a source, the Kansas City Star reported that Allen went to Minnesota on Tuesday night to sign a six-year contract worth just under $74 million with more than $31 million guaranteed, the most ever for a defensive player. The Chiefs are expected to get the Vikings' first-round pick (No. 17) and both the Vikings' third-round selections (73rd and 82nd).

ok i'm better.

lol. Glad you got that out of your system. Allen will still prove his worth to the Vikings. One game does not determine the season.

The thing I liked best about AR is when he would tuck the ball and get the 1st down. that is something a former GB QB did in his early years but gave up on too quickly. His runs will open up more passes later in the year.

"wpr" wrote:

That was one of the first things I really liked about the AR debut. The fact that he can scramble every now and then and pick up some easy first downs with his feet is a new weapon in the GB offense. AR's accuracy with his passes also has me very excited. He handled the stress like a veteran tonight which I'll freely admit I didn't think he would especially at home. My game ball on offense belongs to AR; on defense I give the nod to AJ Hawk who seemed to be all over the field last night.

I thought when I was watching NFL Total Access late at night after the game, a little banner on the bottom said "Want to watch this game again? Wed. 9:30pm EST". I can't verify that right now but it's worth looking into. :thumbright:
