I like Cutler the best of them all. I think both he and Rodgers have all the tools but Cutler might be on a different level. Of course Cutler is well more seasoned than Rodgers right now so we'll see where they stand at the end of the year. I don't want to speak too soon but I would say those two stand alone.

Porky,

I like Cutler as well. I liked him on draft day, and was pissed that the Broncos and that little snot "Shannahan" got him. Now compare his and Chicos first start.

Cutler was raw, thrown into the fire, in a city that was still worshiping Elway. Many QB's were killed in in the line of duty under that pressure from the fans.

Chico had more time to cure and cultivate, however I think the pressure he was put in was worse than Denver. Chico wins this, regardless. His numbers and his progression is remarkable. But so is Cutlers.

I would take Chico over Cutler right now seven days a week. Just my opine.

We will see.... But remember, Chico has a great organization behind him. Cutler has the slimy, stinky, cap cheating Broncos guiding him.

The speed of the pack is determined by the speed of the leader.

Chico will goe down in NFL History as a far bettter Q.B. then Cutler.... And the beauty is The Packers have him.

I just looked it up. The Jets still have Ahmad Carroll. Maybe I should reconsider the Jets playoff prediction that I have for them this year.

Yes I too recall the hoopla over JP Losman and his very big possibility of landing in Green Bay. I guess Losman hasn't been too bad, but for some reason he keeps getting shunted out of the starting job, or he goes down with an injury after showing some promise. If he switches teams, he could be solid.

I do like Cutler a lot though, but I am so glad Rodgers is ours.

BTW...

Of all the QBs that have come out since 2004.

Jay Cutler, Jason Campbell, Vince Young, JP Losman, Trent Edwards, Brody Croyle, Alex Smith(does he even't count now?), JaMarcus Russell, Brady Quinn, Tavaris Jackson, Ingle Martin,
Briah Brohm, Matt Ryan, Joe Flacco, Chad Henne, John David Booty, Matt Leinart, Matt Guiterrez,
Kyle Orton..etc etc....

I'd pick Aaron over all of those QBs. I've said that since 05. Now you see why.

I predict that Aaron Rodgers and Jay Cutler will be meeting each other in superbowl duels in years to come...

Just my two cents:

1 For some of those it's really too soon to make a profound prediction of their future.

2 As I mentioned in another topic, Chico had one of the best QB's to ever play the game, to learn from in his first THREE years in the NFL.

3 There were two QB's out of the Draft 2004 that weren't/aren't too bad and would deserve at least a thought. Philip Rivers and Big Ben.

4 Three (erhm... Ingle Martin is gone)... two of those are also on our team and hopefully will have time to develop into real good QB's.

Have a nice day,
Harald
It was a tight game, and it swayed back and forth. And sure enough, he pulled out a victory at the end...
I swear to you, he smiled while he was doing it. He smiled til the end.
We’ll miss you, gunslinger.

It will be interesting to see what happens when he throws a pick.

BF would never do that.

Chico is not going to throw a pick until week six. This story will build after week four. People will be asking? Will he ever throw a pick?

I put the Over/Under INT number for Chico this season at 5.

'Twas said in jest, of course.

Actually, I'm seeing Chico throwing 10 INTs this year, but 25 TDs. I'd much rather see 25 TDs and 10 INTs than 10 TDs and 5 INTs. Points win ballgames.

We need to go for the throat more in the upcoming games. We should have destroyed MN, but played too conservatively. Hopefully we'll unleash the beast in Michigan. I want to rub it in my Niner friends faces that they dropped the ball. They messed up. They could have had AR but they chose Alex Smith. There are still some here who don't get it.

Apparently T.Thompson thought so too..

All I see on the packers are young, intelligent, high character
players who are making a huge impact. Who all get along.
Who all want to be here. Who all may sign up to be here for a long time.

Amen to that!! That is exactly my feelings! It is a Dam exciting time to be a Packers fan as most of these players will only get better and be long term packers... if that doesnt excite people then I dont know what will.

They are young, they all want to prove there is more to a team then one man, and i truely believe that will bring the Team together more than anything else...They are good now.. what will they be like if they all stick together and a few good rookies/FA signings in a few years...

Its a great start to a long term success of an NFL team!

Maybe we are straying from the topic here, but that is exactly how I feel about this team as well. I think they are a team on a mission, and they are just now entering a period of several years where they will be contenders more often than not.

1) Ingle Martin is still in the league.

2)Referring to Aaron as "Chico" cuz of the town he is
from is SO not clever. Sorry..it's not gonna catch on.

3)I put "etc etc" on the QB's from 2004 list and even
WITH Rothlisberger and Rivers...I'd still pick Rodgers over
them. Not CHICO...I'd pick Aaron Rodgers...
