It was only a month before the NFL draft that Mike McCarthy was singing the praises of DuJuan Harris:

“Oh he’s going to play for us next season. That’s his responsibility if he wants to be the starter… Once he got ready, I felt great about the way DuJuan finished the season. Looking forward to having him for an offseason and look for good things for him.”

March was a good month for Harris. You couldn’t go two clicks of the mouse without finding a feature on Harris. JSOnline did a feature piece on him and what he was doing to prepare this offseason. Our own Adam Czech posed the question, “Real Deal or Flavor of the Month?”

don't like the dude for our team - sorry guy ...
IMO we are better off with a bigger powerback ... unless our Oline guys suddenly get really good at run blocking etc ...
besides we need someone to pass block too; and Id rather have someone with some muscle there that can run and block.

but we will see ...
be a nice contest with our RBs this season

Going to be quite a battle at the RB position in pre-season.

IMHO there will be room for Harris and he will have a role.

I agree with the writer, Starks and maybe Green could be in trouble.

A team can never have enough good solid RB's.

Harris proved last year he could contribute. Let's see how he reacts to the competition of a TC.

Color me as a guy that still believes that Harris might be a large contributor to the Packers. One thing the Packers don't do, is feel the need to play a guy just because of his draft position.

If a guy can play and earns it.. he plays.

Fans may be overlooking Harris, but that certainly doesn't mean that the coaching staff has.

It will be fun to watch this battle be waged.. and I for one enjoyed watching DuJuan hit the running lanes at full tilt.

I like the different talents each of the RBs bring. The competition should be very good.

I think he can play. Speed AND power. He's small, so he can be hard to find. Also runs low, so it's hard to get under his pads. I'd take him over Green, and I like Green.

Csonka and Kiick had Mercury Morris; Taylor and Hornung had Travis Williams; Lacy and Franklin have Harris ...... but wait, this is the damn I formation. Oh well.

Green/Starks/whoever better be an asset on special teams, because that probably will determine which if either make the roster. I read Starks already is on the trading block.

If they can get anything for Starks I believe they would take it. From what I've read they were not happy with his practice habits. That coupled with his problems staying on the field don't bode well for him. If they don't make a trade it sounds as though the odds are he won't stick. I also like Green but I think it will be Lacy, Franklin and Harris, barring injury, as I don't think they will keep 4 RBs.

Mucky Tundra (1h) : To this day, I'm still miffed about his 4 TD game against Dallas on Thanksgiving going to waste
Martha Careful (2h) : Congratulations Sterling Sharpe. He was terrific and I loved watching him play.
beast (18h) : I believe it's technically against the CBA rules, but Jerry just calls it a simple unofficial chat... and somehow gets away with it.
beast (18h) : Jerry Jones is infamous for ̶n̶e̶g̶o̶t̶i̶a̶t̶i̶n̶g̶ chatting with players one on one... and going around the agent.
Mucky Tundra (1-Aug) : Oo just saw a blurb saying that Dallas negotiated directly with Parsons and not through his agent
Mucky Tundra (1-Aug) : I assumed that both guys will get paid, just a matter of when or how we get there
Zero2Cool (1-Aug) : McLaurin nor Micah going anywhere. They will get money
Mucky Tundra (1-Aug) : the Synder years or do they take care of one of their own?
Mucky Tundra (1-Aug) : Do the Commanders risk losing a top WR with an emerging QB just because he's turning 30 and potentially risk damaging the rebuild from
Mucky Tundra (1-Aug) : Turns 30 this September, plays at a high level and Washington has some cap space I believe
Mucky Tundra (1-Aug) : More interesting is Washington with Terry McLaurin

Mucky Tundra (27-Jul) : @JacobMorley Shoutout to Quinn Ewers for allowing Matthew Golden to be available when Green Bay picked.
