NFL analyst and NFL Films senior producer Greg Cosell had high praise for Packers seventh-round draft pick Sam Barrington on Tuesday. Seems like the kid has some promise, at least in terms of special teams. However, at 6-foot-1, 235-pounds, I imagine he could get chewed up inside fairly easily in the run game (although that's close to Desmond Bishop's weight). Maybe he learn to be a good cover ILB, though?

Is there no end to the QUALITY of Packer low round picks and UDFAs?

If all of these articles and descriptions are valid, then WOW, Ted Thompson is some GM. But I hope the DEPTH of these articles and young players is Shinola, not the alternative.

I wasn't skeptical at all at first, but each new possible future star, and I get a little more so. Keep the articles coming, just the same.

Interesting. The rap I heard on him was that he was a little bit slow. Sounds like he speeded that time up pretty decently for an ILB. Can't wait to see what he and Manning can do on the inside.
