i think we should give him another year to see what he can do. we had a ton of injuries this season and i think he did a great job today with the game plan. honestly i think you will get similar results with someone else in his shoes.
what do you guys think?

They still didn't play good enough to beat teams like the 49'er's, Seahawks, Saints, and possibly even the Panthers. If Dom sticks around, I think the Packers are guaranteed an average defense, at best, and often worse. Is there someone out there that could do better? I think so (Wade Phillips?), but I can't imagine the Packers trying everything it takes to try to improve. I really don't see any sense of urgency from the Packers front office.

I was calling for Dom's head as much as anyone, and during that midseason slide, they shit themselves BAD.

But here's one thing about Dom's unit. When we as fans call them out, THEY RESPOND.

Mike's squad continues to consistently shit themselves no matter what, even when we win. Have they EVER showed up for a full 60?

Keep Dom, shitcan Mike.

I think Capers should stay... the guy had the Packers at 11th scored against last year (and would of been 9th if they had called the fail mary play right).

The biggest problem for this defense this year was injuries and lack of good talent at Safety.

But Matthews, Jolly, Perry, Neal and Hayward all got banged up... Hayward was huge last year and then injured this year.

Also lets not forget the Rodgers injury... and yeah I know he doesn't play defense, but his play does... with out Rodgers the offense did much worse and when they did much worse so did the defense, as the offense wasn't keeping drives going as much and defense has to do a lot more and with their injuries they couldn't handle it. It also didn't help that some of them seemed to give up and not try their hardest when the offense sucked as they had no hope of winning the game because the offense was so bad.

With Rodgers (and injuries) Packers were 15 in points against. (It also didn't help that early in the season offense and special teams seemed to be helping the other team with some bad filed position turnovers)

With out Rodgers the Packers were 32 in points against.

If healthy and some improvements I think Capers SHOULD be able to get them back into the top 10 in points scored against.

That being said, the real thing that NEEDS to be changes is the pervention of injuries program(s)... I know it's football and some injuries can't be helped... but come on they have to try something new to try to prevent some of them right?

I was tracking that for a little while... the offense finally put the dagger in against the Vikings ...

Even though they stepped their game up today, I find it inexcusable that MD Jennings started only to be yanked for Sean Richardson YET AGAIN. I find it inexcusable that Perry played on the left side the final drive even though he brought pressure from the right side (including his sack). I find it inexcusable that the fat lump formerly known as BJ Raji continues to get snaps while guys like Boyd and Jones get buried on the bench.
