I recall there were a couple of catchers in baseball that had to retire because they continued to be foggy as you put it a year later. It just seemed so strange when I first heard about it. I was concussed playing of all things softball and had a brother that got one playing HS football. He was the best player on the team and wouldn't leave the field (Made All State his Sr year.) The next day we were both fine. Not all concussions are the same.

Yes, but this is a collision sport. Do they need to start checking people after every hit?

And by "out of the ordinary" I don't mean just "big hit of the type that leads to concussions sometimes.

My guess is that said professional eyes see the hit (or the person not popping up immediately or whatever and then watch the player as the player goes to the sideline, take helmet off, etc. My guess is that they've already seen one or more of those things, perhaps from afar, before they take the player and start the detailed check.

At best, what we see the camera following the player until the professional meets him and then what happens afterward. We never see what that professional is doing/looking at before he arrives beside the potential concussed player.

My guess is the trainer/doctor on the sideline has already started his professional observation before he even gets to the point of saying "let's check you out and see if you can go back in".

Of course, many will say that is my normal condition. 😆

Bahktiari was hurt, the next play was a TD, and he went in for the FG following. There is no way they were able to concluded he was concussed in that time frame. He slipped himself between the cracks during an exciting portion of the game for the Packer sideline.

The world needs ditch diggers too Danny!!!

Mucky Tundra (1-Aug) : Oo just saw a blurb saying that Dallas negotiated directly with Parsons and not through his agent

Zero2Cool (1-Aug) : McLaurin nor Micah going anywhere. They will get money
