Yeah. Al's knee got shredded against SF in 2009, but had surgery and was in TC 2010, PUP'd, then waived in Nov 2010. He helped those younger guys as a mentor. Glad Harris got a ring.

He finished the year with Miami and actually made 3 appearances with them. I knew there was talk we had offered but for some reason I thought we either hadn't pulled the trigger or he declined because he didn't appear in a game for us that year. Just looked and it appears we did give him the ring after all; so thanks to you and Dakota for the correction. I echo that sentiment: glad he did get a ring.

I know man and agree, but it should. He was a phenomenal part of our team for years, and I'm certain he lent his words of encouragement and wisdom to our younger players that year, and I am sure it helped us.

I can't remember precisely where, although Al Harris said he was very grateful and appreciated of the ring he received. I believe it holds high significance with him based on things he's said in reference to it.
