I still dont even know how to feel about the NFCCG.

On one hand:

That was the worst choke job I have ever seen, failure in playcalling 101. Brain dead players. After what was the most energized I have seen this team in YEARS. The defense was "shushing" the Seattle crowd, lots of energy and communication on the sideline.

Then something happened.

Somewhere in the 3rd quarter it was gone. The team lost "it" the sideline was dead. ... You know the rest.


On the other hand:

We took (who I consider) the best team the NFL has had in a while, with arguably the best D of all time into OT.. On THEIR field! Which is much further that I even hoped we would have.


Ugh.

It's my daughter's 3rd birthday. Was hoping it was going to be spent cheering the "Big G" (her term) to victory. Now I will just numb myself with cider so the game doesn't piss me off too much.

Laser Gunns I know that feeling. My heart is still thinking "Burnett INT! Finish'em off on the next drive and on to the Super Bowl!" and my brain is thinking "Wake up dummy, your team lost!" Eventually the heart will come around sometime though it might take until the Draft.

I was biting my nails the whole game, that INT was the only time when I threw up my arms and yelled "YES!"

The nail was on the coffin, and we diddnt hammer it in.

I watched about 7 episodes of the TV show Primeval. I see the Patriots won. Sounds like it might have been a good game for football fans. I don't like the Patriots and I could stand to see the Seahawks win so the big snowfall was a good excuse not to go to my sister's house and watch it.

I watched most of it. But I never got excited. It was just something to do between snow shoveling.
But I admit, I took some joy watching the Sea-squawks "throw" the game away.
