So is he going to play DE or OLB? Doesn't seem to have ideal size for either spot but his production can't be denied. For a late round pick an interesting gamble.

No idea who this guy is. Given what was available at DE at this point, maybe Chikillo-the-tweener. I had no one else worth taking. Its a late 6th. Who knows?

I think it is official, though Ted really is comfortable going into the season with Raji/Guion on the nose.

And *that* to me, is worth an "ARGHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!"

Looks like a DE to me. One thing that catches my eye watching what is available is that there is no quit in him. He is an effort guy and doesn't take plays off especially late in games.

And the Packers want to develop the young DL they already have in Daneils, Jones, Boyd, Pennel, Thornton, Robinson and Gaston

To expand on Z2C and greengold's posts: PFF had Ringo a pass-rush efficiency rating of 15.8.

By comparison, the highest pass-rush efficiency rating in the NFL last year was a 15.0 put up by JJ Watt.

Ringo (albeit in college) was a more dominating pass-rusher than JJ Watt last year.

As PFF mentions, one would think Ringo may have the ability to craft a role for himself as a very good pass-rushing specialist.
