That's the beauty of NFL Red zone. Anytime theres a commercial break they switch to another game. Seven hours of nonstop, unadulterated football bliss. .

Also at the end of the day they show a montage of every touchdown scored that day. Honestly my favorite part of NFL Sunday, excluding the Packers game of course.

Also an added annoyance when im watch a game through my local provider is the uk based commentary team can often cut over the US commentary team so the whole experience can be really disjointed with commercials

UK commercials end > UK Commentary team (filling for US Commercials) > Post US Intro (eg fox sports robot) > US Commentators saying the same as the UK commentators > Game continues

It really must be off-season if this is the worst you guys can think of to whine about.

What are ya - in a hurry to go someplace? Got a plane to catch? A commercial is a chance to grab a snack, piss, take a shit if you're quick about it. As was said, there's Red Zone or better yet Sunday Ticket, or if you can't afford those, you can always switch channels to the other network - or turn up the volume on the second TV.

Even with the commercials, an NFL game is a helluva lot more exciting - and fast moving too - than baseball or, heaven forbid, soccer.

I highly doubt I am alone in the the gripe over the delay between actual football after a score. Peter King took the time to measure it and I gotta say that four minutes feels like 15 minutes to me at times.

When I did the highlight videos, it was really annoying having to jump forward so much. If I knew of a place I could upload the full game, I would cut out all the garbage and just the game and the video would be probably nothing more than 90 minutes. NFL has come out with NFL Game Rewind so that venture is of course not needed.
