We can add this as another reason.

From Eric Baranczyk

"We saw Thursday night why Aaron Rodgers and the coaching staff don’t have full trust in second-year receiver Jeff Janis. In the first quarter Janis got behind cornerback Nevin Lawson on a go route and Rodgers tried to hit him. But Janis drifted on his route and then slowed slightly as the ball was coming down, so he couldn’t quite catch up to the throw. Rodgers had correctly thrown the ball to Janis’ outside shoulder because Nevin had inside leverage, but Janis still drifted toward the middle of the field rather than anticipating the throw to the outside, and by the time he tracked the ball it was out of reach."

It would help if he bent his elbows when trying to catch the ball too.

Here is Jeff Janis on the Lions bomb he just barely missed out on snagging.

It was just me, I couldn't see the ball. I looked up and the trajectory of the ball was super high and I just didn't see it. I had the guy beat and I was running and I looked back for the ball and didn't see it and I slowed up a little bit.

Then I realized he threw it to me. By the time I realized where the ball was, it was too late.

Yeah. That's why he doesn't play. And will probably never play for us. But he might be a good WR in another system.
