Packers starter Eddie Lacy is no longer a reliable runner, appears overweight and missed curfew. John Crockett played his first regular-season game Thursday, providing 22 yards and plenty of spark.

Kid was running well, behind a shit Oline. I'd like to see more of him, let's see what we've got there.

No contoversy here.
Crockett exudes enthusiasm and energy, Lacy does not seem to give a shit.
Let Lacy sit out the last couple of months of his career with the Packers watching the guys who do give a shit.

He had some good moves thats for sure. Hope he gets some more touches regardless.

I like Starks speed, but I've never liked his ball carrying, he dangles that thing like a loaf. I'm surprised he hasn't fumbled more than he has.

As for Eddie, I love Eddie Lacy. But Does Eddie Lacy love football? That is something I'm not sure of. Maybe a benching like that will help him get his head out of his ass and focus on the job he's getting paid to do. But we will see. When he's on he is a full blown hurricane of force so it'd be great to have during the stretch run as the weather continues to worsen.

Eddie Lacy would run wild on a team that could open holes for him and let him get some momentum moving forward. Too often, though, he gets bogged down, stacked up, and stopped for a loss. He just can't seem to dodge tacklers, jump cut or change direction to find openings. Furthermore, he might get you 20 or 25 on a wide open run where Starks would go to the house. Crockett made those quick moves to scoot through the line when no obvious hole was there. I don't think he has Starks' speed, but with our O Line, he's definitely more suited than Lacy.

Lacy had back to back 100+ yd games running behind that O-line you just love to abuse.

Now since 3 of the 5 starters were out Thursday, I can cut the backups a little slack.
I didn't hear anything about any of them missing curfew.

I would look toward Eddie Lacy if you want to look for running problems.

A running back would run wild with wide holes? You don't say!! Imagine that running back paired with a quarterback who had 4-5 seconds in the pocket to throw the ball!! You would have a winning team for sure!

lets settle down abit on the kid crockett , it was his 1st game and had a few nice runs, but this is far from being a featured back , dont get ahead of yourself and diss eddie, he still has alot left in the tank and im thinking he may take a different approach come gameday when he gets a chance to run !!

I'm not dissing Eddie, I said before the game that The Packers were going to ride him and Starks to a victory.

The Packers need Eddie Lacy to be Eddie Lacy the next 4 games.

He looked like he got back on track, he got healthy and like I said he put up back to back 100yd games.

Only he knows why he did what he did.

There are a lot of members here who like to mention Bill Bellichech and the way he runs things in New England.

Wonder what Bill would have done?

Hopefully by next Sunday Eddie is back to his old self.

beast (2-Aug) : I believe it's technically against the CBA rules, but Jerry just calls it a simple unofficial chat... and somehow gets away with it.
beast (2-Aug) : Jerry Jones is infamous for ̶n̶e̶g̶o̶t̶i̶a̶t̶i̶n̶g̶ chatting with players one on one... and going around the agent.
Mucky Tundra (1-Aug) : Oo just saw a blurb saying that Dallas negotiated directly with Parsons and not through his agent
Mucky Tundra (1-Aug) : I assumed that both guys will get paid, just a matter of when or how we get there
Zero2Cool (1-Aug) : McLaurin nor Micah going anywhere. They will get money
Mucky Tundra (1-Aug) : the Synder years or do they take care of one of their own?
Mucky Tundra (1-Aug) : Do the Commanders risk losing a top WR with an emerging QB just because he's turning 30 and potentially risk damaging the rebuild from
Mucky Tundra (1-Aug) : Turns 30 this September, plays at a high level and Washington has some cap space I believe
Mucky Tundra (1-Aug) : More interesting is Washington with Terry McLaurin
Mucky Tundra (1-Aug) : I would imagine Dallas will resolve this issue with a truckload of money
Zero2Cool (1-Aug) : Micah pulling a Myles with trade request

Mucky Tundra (30-Jul) : Zero, regarding Ewers, you are correct.
Zero2Cool (30-Jul) : Sadly, this might be our life for awhile. I could put it on another host, but seems it was slower, although more stable

beast (30-Jul) : RIP site 😭
Zero2Cool (30-Jul) : Site will die, I have to restart it.
Zero2Cool (30-Jul) : Quinn stinks. Lot of underthrows. (my guess)
beast (30-Jul) : How did Quinn Ewers effect where Golden was drafted?
dfosterf (30-Jul) : All I've experienced was late at night or early morning. I just figured you were doing something in the background
Zero2Cool (30-Jul) : Site sure seems to be down more than up
