Vikes have the better and ascending defense. Better HC. A GM who will make moves to improve team other than relying on just draft and UDFA's. They have the better running game. We have the better QB and WR if Jordy Nelson is back to form.

Minnesota added Treadwell who many thought was the best WR in the draft but fell due to poor 40 time. Paired with Diggs and Charles Johnson and Rudloph at TE they have a budding young WR corps.

Week 2 will tell everyone a lot about who the power in this division is going to be this season. I would say it's pretty close to 50-50 as to who is the better team.

Plus, as has been noted the Vikings aren't staying the same ore getting worse. They're getting better. Not so sure I can say the same for us.

LOL, Dakota! No. I figure if I make one post once in a blue moon I can't get suspended.

I think one Dakota goes an awful long way, here. You must feel like the one voice crying in the wilderness.

Okay, you talked me into it. Maybe, two posts a day. 🙂 I should be safe as long as I don't try stretching to 3. Bad things happen in 3's. 🤣

While I'm not a Moderator, can I ask we get back to the topic because I personally am enthralled with reading what others are thinking about the Vikings perceived uprising. You hear about Adrian Peterson saying most feel the Vikings are few years away from contending for Super Bowl and his response was "Wait, just wait, this is the year". Unless Teddy Bridgewater can pull off some 2000 Trent Dilfer type of luck/fortune, I just don't see it.

The Vikings don't have the quarterback in place to be a serious contender yet.

Just because a bunch of people agree with each other doesn't mean they are WRONG.

Anyway.....my hope is that the Vikings keep being the Vikings, and choke away another season. I STILL can't believe their kicker missed that field goal in the playoffs last season.

I feel like the Vikings are doing a great job with their drafting and their back 7 on defense have the raw potential to be the best in the entire NFL (not saying they'll be able to make the most of that raw potential, as they haven't been able to yet) and they seem to have upgraded their OL this offseason to help out Peterson and Bridgewater. The Vikings could make a Super Bowl push if they get the DL going and offense playing smart and together.

Zero2Cool (51m) : Well, not crazy, it makes sense. Crazy I didn't notice/find it earlier
Zero2Cool (51m) : it's crazy how one stored procedure to get data bogged everything down for speed here
dfosterf (1h) : to herd cats or goldfish without a bowl. They reminded me of the annual assembly of our fantasy league

Mucky Tundra (4-Aug) : *to be able
Mucky Tundra (4-Aug) : and because it's not a dynasty league (which makes a lot more sense to be ability to trade picks)
Mucky Tundra (4-Aug) : Oh I know; I was just exploring and it blew my mind that you could trade picks because of the whole reordering thing
Mucky Tundra (4-Aug) : Zero, I think I preferred my offer: your 1st for my 15th rounder

Mucky Tundra (1-Aug) : the Synder years or do they take care of one of their own?
Mucky Tundra (1-Aug) : Do the Commanders risk losing a top WR with an emerging QB just because he's turning 30 and potentially risk damaging the rebuild from
Mucky Tundra (1-Aug) : Turns 30 this September, plays at a high level and Washington has some cap space I believe
Mucky Tundra (1-Aug) : More interesting is Washington with Terry McLaurin
Mucky Tundra (1-Aug) : I would imagine Dallas will resolve this issue with a truckload of money
Zero2Cool (1-Aug) : Micah pulling a Myles with trade request
