People that hire illegal aliens should be prosecuted as well.
Truth is, many of the illegals are criminals, and that's why they are here illegally. They KNOW they can't be here legally.
Follow the laws already on the books, and there wouldn't be a problem.
Many people are just too lazy to follow through. Much easier to just ignore the law and "sneak" into the country.
In today's world, if we don't do something NOW to start protecting our borders, we will end up like Europe with suicide bombings and terrorist attacks as the "norm".
We need a leader whose first concern is the United States of America, and other countries next.
We won't be much good to anyone else if we don't do so NOW.
Just holding hands and singing "kumbya" won't actually DO anything.
That's what liberals do though. Hold rallies and condemn anyone that doesn't share their views.
They never actually accomplish any good. It just makes them "feel better about themselves". Makes them FEEL superior then us.

I have no worry about myself Unlike the morons who hate success and those who provide the jobs. Must be miserable living with all that hate you have for the country you live in and those who make it run.

The thing is, the whole "rob from the rich, and give to the poor" has never worked. It ALWAYS ends up being "rob from the rich, and fill their own pockets" and NOTHING changes.

I didn't mention Obamacare, because I obviously don't know as much about it as most Americans, but the premise is certainly a good one in my eyes. What is so inherently bad about health insurance and not being able to drop people who had insurance in retrospect due to bullshit reasons, though?

Yeah, the norm. People are just blowing themselves up left, right and centre here. Big chance Mexicans will put down their paintbrushes and start blowing themselves up soon...

Oh, and if you really want to go there, there's enough to objectively state that they are pretty great... Denmark, Norway and the Netherlands, for instance, all did great in PISA studies , rank high in education , score amazing on happiness  , are all in the top end when it comes to GDP per capita  and lead the list in freedom .

I don't know why this has to turn into a pissing match between nations, though. All I did was give an example of said method working.

They would all be failed if it wasn't for the US. None of them would be countries if it wasn't for the US. beside being an apples to watermelon comparison. I don't fault them for taking advantage of the way the world has evolved, I actually give them credit, its the comparisons and they Well So and So can do it that drives me nuts. Why can they afford comprehensive Welfare? Because they don't have to protect themselves, we basically take care of that. When there is some disaster around the world, who does everybody look to. The US.

It has been in the best interest of the US to be the Worlds "Peacemaker". It keeps the majority of the rest of the world weak where they would never have the ability to attack the US. And it keeps the US in position where if they did try, we could counter attack their homelands immediately.

In the end, what is done in Sweden, and Denmark and Norway won't work in the US so all the talk and comparison about it is foolish at best.

The premise of making health care affordable is a GREAT idea. But the truth is, they haven't done so. Unlike some here, I have actually TALKED to people to see what Obama care has done for them, and the vast majority have NOT been helped.
If health care was free for everyone, it would be GREAT. The PROBLEM with it is, that people then misuse it. Going in the things that really don't need a doctor. That backs up the system for those that really need medical treatment.
And look at France and other countries in Europe. They ARE getting attacked by terrorists quite often.
Do I want that kind of thing going on here? How often is enough to make you say "We HAVE to DO something about it!"? Like the California gun law, if you wait until you NEED to do something to stop it, you are probably too late.
They have found terrorist plots in this country already. Fortunately, we caught them before they were able to deploy their attacks. Leaving the Mexico border so open, just gives a free pass for the terrorists to get into America. They aren't Mexicans, but look at it honestly. If every other way in is blocked EXCEPT that border, where do you think they will come in?
If you lock all your doors and windows except one, which one do you think a burgler would use to enter your home?
Common sense, if you ask me.

Read this some time ago helping one of the kids with school work and the election process... anyway... thought I would drop it here into this circular argument. Worded pretty well... and to the point.

Divided we fall..

Why the hate...

Our government has grown so far outside of its own constitutional bounds that it has become the primary vehicle of progress for both sides. Because the government continually holds more power than it was ever meant to wield, each successive election becomes more and more important with each new power granted to it.

Whether you measure progress in the growth of government or the restraining of it, all the strides that can be made in a couple of hard-won presidential terms can be undone in a single election.

Unfortunately, we have reached a point where both parties seem to believe that the government provides the biggest and easiest answer to any societal problem. This creates a double-edged sword with each major election. Not only can the winner undo all of the things that the other party accomplished, but it can then install its own system of values and principles that it will force the other side to abide by, imposing them through the over-powerful and barely limited government.

When the left wins, it installs massive bureaucracy that forces many on the right to swallow programs and policies it finds immoral and unfair. When the right wins, it promises to roll back that same bureaucracy and forces the left to swallow a government it finds immoral and unfair.

This is why we are at each other’s throats. A victory for the other side means several years of an immoral and politicized federal government that has enough power to affect everyone’s life in a myriad of ways, not all of which are agreeable to your values.

Our political differences, in a constitutionally-limited government, should elicit barely more than a shrug from the opposing side. If a government is severely limited in what it can do, then the parties are equally limited in how much they can impose on each other.

I have NEVER said I was in ANY way "morally superior" over anyone. The fact is the exact opposite. I ADMIT I am a sinner, ONLY saved by the grace of God. I am in NO way ANY better then anyone else. I DESERVE to go to hell.
All I have done is point out what the Bible says about homosexuality, and why I choose to believe what God says about it, that it is a sin. It is one that is talked about by God specifically, so that there is NO doubt about how HE feels about it.
I do NOT hate homosexuals. Any more then I hate liars or thiefs. They need to get right with God just like EVERYONE on this earth. And that is what I desire. For them to go to Heaven. Does that make me an awful person? You'd think so, according to all the awful things that have been said about me. But God said that Christians should expect that kind of response.
I think it's quite easy to see who actually thinks in their own mind that they are morally and mentally superior over everyone else.
If you can't actually back up what you say, then the only thing you CAN do is name call and bully people. Which we have seen over and over here. Bully people so that they are afraid to speak up and give their opinions.
It is well known that rich people pay the majority of the taxes already. How many have left this country for that very reason? If you keep thinking that they are your personal piggy bank, they will leave and take their businesses with them. That's why the mass exodus of companies have moved to Mexico and other countries.
Yeah.....THAT'S the way to strengthen our economy. FORCE jobs to leave here.

Kinda how I feel when inquiring about religion and politics. Very little debate and just a lot of childish name-calling and labeling gets flung around.

Zero2Cool (27-Aug) : If you hear rumors about Packers sign or trade, won't happen. Not how they work
