After all, a semi-stranger seemed to have pretty good luck with that!

Blake Bortles sought out Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers and Cardinals quarterback Carson Palmer, asking for advice to push through some of his problems last year.

“I bounced ideas off of them and asked them, ‘What would you do differently?’” Bortles said. “Aaron was awesome.

Being a mod doesn't take up your valuable time? Do I really have to go through all the steps for you Wayne? Keep up.

My mod duties to date have not taken 20 minutes since I accepted the responsibility. Personally I could care less about being a mod. I do it for one reason. To help Kevin. I respect him. I don't agree with everything he says but I respect the man.

1. I deleted four (4) spam posts after receiving an email (four of them) informing me of a potential spam post. 4 minutes total.

2. I locked a thread that was going nowhere. 30 seconds because I posted a remark first. Like the “California” posts today they were droning on and on and on. Boring.

Locked Topics

The locking of a topic is deliberately rare, however, sometimes it is necessary to close/lock a topic so everyone can move on and that action will be respected.

Ah if people would only move on instead of taking their worn out act on the road.

3. I checked with the other mods to see what their opinion was on the locked topic. They said they were about to do the same. 2 minutes.

4. Periodically talking with other the other mods. Mainly about the spam posts. I didn’t handle the spam removal the way it should have been handled. 5 minutes.

When people are grownups and treat each other with respect and compassion there really isn’t anything to do. That reminds me:
5. I edited one of your posts because of personal attacks on another member

Personal Attacks

At PackersHome.com everyone should feel comfortable to express their thoughts and opinions, even if they are different than our own.

I don’t read every single post. I don't plan to. I don’t spend a lot of time here. I pop in and out a few times during the day. Most often before and after work. Perhaps during lunch. Sometimes while I am on hold. I can't do a whole lot of posting off my phone and I won't use my office computer.

I spend more time in my cardio class than I do moderating. Also mowing my lawn, taking care of my mother, washing the dishes. Cleaning the garage. It needs it again. Bathing the dog. He needs it again. I spent more time cleaning up my mother in laws back yard on Saturday. All told that was 14 ½ hours including drive time. But if you knew me you would know that number isn't really accurate. I did spend 1 1/2 of the 14 1/2 hours visiting my MIL in the hospital. Shame on me for misleading such a stand up person as you truly are. A person with no flaw but oh so ready to condemn anyone who doesn't measure up to your personal standards. You know it just occurred to me. Since I don't plan to vote for Hillary or Drumpf, I should vote for you instead of Johnson because clearly you are the only person that has a clue.

Actually everything else in my life takes up more of my time than what it takes to moderate this website. I probably even spent more time on this post than I have moderating this site. But that is because I had to go put in the bold and

quotes

so it took a little longer.

Or Jordan Rodgers is a dumbass!

I can handle my brother for about 4 hours, once a year. He'd fit in really well with the Mensa club here at PH.

Personally, I don't get the Rodgers sensitivity in its heightened sense, that said he has made no secrets about it, he is a private person and doesn't want his business aired out. Not that long ago, they had a decent relationship by all accords.

But I think Jordan going on the dating show probably has more to do about the strain than anything... because what is one thing that a reality show strives upon, DRAMA. At least the few that I have seen... or have been forced to watch by proxy (Wife).

No matter how Aaron would approach that engagement, it would probably have been littered with some type of semi-manufactured DRAMA. What better way to avoid being dragged into it... shy away from it. Or at least he may have thought... yet here it is, the one thing he seemingly tries to avoid... DRAMA.

And Jordan's comments probably are going to build more of a rift in the relationship than were really there to begin with.

I don't think Aaron will give a rat's patootie about what Jordan says.
If they aren't close, why would he care?
