Apparently Favre is the only player with jerseys from 2 teams (according to another forum I visit) While I understand the reasoning for it (set a record) I do find it interesting that there haven't been a few other players to have recorded significant events with different teams.

The Kevin Greene situation is different in that while he may have played more seasons for the Rams and built up more stats he is still known as a Steeler first and foremost in most people's minds and simply building more stats with one team than another isn't enough in my mind to have it included.

People say where is the Montana Chiefs jersey or the Rice Raiders jersey but neither of these players accomplished anything significant with these teams so there is no reason to include them IMO.

In 5 years I wonder if Manning will have a Colts and a Broncos jersey. Certainly the bulk of his career and stats were as a Colt and I think he will be remembered as a Colt by most fans but his records were set as a Bronco. Also in 5 years what jersey will Charles Woodson have? Packers or Raiders. As Packers fans we would hope to see a Packers jersey but I wonder how he is truly regarded by the rest of the league. IMO it could go either way but I am almost certain it won't be both.

As for my opinion I couldn't care less.

I think Greg Lloyd when thinking Steelers linebacker during that time. Kevin Greene as a Rams player, always. How can three seasons trump eight?? Maybe those people didn't watch much football? Or I watched too much lol

Interesting. I honestly didn't know Greene even played for the Rams or maybe I did but it never really registered. I followed the Packers and that was pretty much it. Still is actually it's just that with the media nowadays star players get more exposure.
