I say we take action against Goodell's latest power play.

Everyone in the league is afraid of him, so it's on US to take care of business. None of the "regular" owners will do so. Any lawyers on board?

Rodger Goodell was hired by and works for the owners . He carries out the orders of the majority of the owners . They don't tell us what goes on at the owners meetings , but Goodell sure knows . He and the owners are already united in favor of themselves .

We need to be careful with our words . Personal threats that cross the line can be acted upon by the law. WE can be against Goodell without crossing any legal lines . I'd hate for anyone to threaten anyone else and get in trouble for it .

In the mean time , we can influence public opinion with our support of the players and our condemnation of the commissioner . [boxing]

Peppers, Matthews, and Harrison need to get in there and answer his fucking questions. Union solidarity only goes so far. If these players took the PED's they are being accused then they should serve their suspensions.

Goodell is just doing his job.

There will be a legal argument after Goodell tries to lower his gavel on these guys and they appeal it in court. One way or another Goodell is going to get his way and then the legal battle will ensue . Goodell works for the owners and to them any publicity is good publicity . They win no matter who looses. Not only do they harass the players, but keep the NFL in the news.

The current CBA expires after the 2020 NFL season. The way things are going, I fully expect a lockout in 2021.

Mucky Tundra (4-Aug) : and because it's not a dynasty league (which makes a lot more sense to be ability to trade picks)
Mucky Tundra (4-Aug) : Oh I know; I was just exploring and it blew my mind that you could trade picks because of the whole reordering thing
Mucky Tundra (4-Aug) : Zero, I think I preferred my offer: your 1st for my 15th rounder

beast (2-Aug) : Jerry Jones is infamous for ̶n̶e̶g̶o̶t̶i̶a̶t̶i̶n̶g̶ chatting with players one on one... and going around the agent.
Mucky Tundra (1-Aug) : Oo just saw a blurb saying that Dallas negotiated directly with Parsons and not through his agent

Zero2Cool (1-Aug) : McLaurin nor Micah going anywhere. They will get money
