nerdmann just pissed AND shit himself.

Under the revised policy, approved recently by the NFL competition committee, the "probable" category has been eliminated and the remaining classifications have been redefined.

Two days before kickoff, teams must list injured players as "questionable," "doubtful" or "out" for that game.

"Questionable" players, per the policy, are "uncertain" to play. Previously, the definition was that there was a 50 percent likelihood of playing.

"Doubtful" means the player is "unlikely" to participate in the game, and "out" means he "will not play." The previous definition for "doubtful" was a 75 percent likelihood that he would not play.

They should make it even simpler. "Probable" meaning there is a chance he will play and "Out" meaning he won't play.

Hurt and none of you business if they will play or not.

How about "If they play, you will see them on the field. If you DON'T see them on the field, they won't play."

Or maybe "He has a boo-boo. So he will play"
And "He has an ouchy, so he won't play".

So just tell them it's "nunya' , as in it's nunya damn business .

Well that might be just fine if your speaking for your team , but what about the opposition ?

The whole point is to be as fair as possible in how information is or is not disclosed . Where the line is drawn is the question, and I say all teams walk the line most of the time . None want to disclose and all want full disclosure . Rules agreed upon by the owners must be adhered to and punishment/s need to be set prior to beginning the new season .

This matters most to the talking heads that pretend to analyze football all week and tell the dwindling audience exactly what will happen in a football game.

Probably for the best. How many guys designated "probable" ended up not playing in games last year? Only a handful I would imagine.

I know there are fines for not putting injured guys on the report. I remember Denver got hit one time and the next few weeks their injury report was 3 times longer than anyone else's. If a player is not listed on the report and ends up not playing the team has to submit a reason why and if the league isn't satisfied with the reason the team can be disciplined. To me this would mean the number players listed as questionable will certainly go up as teams will not want to risk the fine. A guy tweaks his ankle on Wednesday and limps off the field, the staff is 99% certain he will play on Sunday but because there is that 1% chance he won't play they don't want to not put him on the list so now the only option is questionable. He is probably going to play but he has to be listed as questionable now so instead of 95% of the "probable" players playing we will see 85% of the questionable players playing. How is that better.
