JC Tretter has played Guard before. Maybe Corey Linsley rumors about being healthier than we know are true and we'll see this.

I am devastated by this news, I considered Sitton the anchor of the 2016 Packers O-Line. A unit that must play as a TEAM and not as individuals. It takes time for the players learn to play together as a Team.

The Packers would not have released him if he were healthy. Other teams will know this as well and Josh may not play NFL Football this season. Perhaps he will get the medical care he needs in the mean time and he would be welcome to tryout for the 2017 GB Season.

Fair the well Mr. Sitton, you will be missed and fondly remembered . [crying]

It's still hard for me to fully believe this one yet. I don't see why you would cut him unless it's for the money or health reasons. And the truth is the Packers have over paid for a number of good players which Sitton has been...

I don't see a reason to straight out cut him... unless he has serious healthy reasons in which he needs to retire or two OGs have out played him. Which according to some, Lang outplayed Sitton last year... but who's next? Taylor or Barclay? Taylor has struggled some in preseason especially early on. Barclay has looked solid or slightly better, but I doubt better than Sitton.
