I have yet to see any rumor, even from vague unnamed sources. Everything out there is click bait speculation at this point.

He'll be missed but it's probably best-case scenario for everyone involved. You don't want to lose Wolf.

Keeping Thompson around as the head scout and consultant while another talented person is the General Manager would seem ideal to me. Thompson is an incredible scout, but not the best GM. This could be a win-win for everyone, as long as everyone keeps their egos in check.
