As first reported by Zero in Shout... and followed up on by Tom Silverstein:

He does have an open sexual battery case swith Santa Clara DA. Also, punched a woman in 2008. Guy could conceivably be suspended 6 games at some point.

Brooks with 6 or more sacks the last 6 seasons

10 year vet scheduled to make 6.1 million with SF this season. No way we pay anywhere near that so I doubt he ends up here unless there's just no market for his services. Denver is also interested.

He's better than our depth but man... violence against women and sexual contact of any kind without consent... that's the worst.

Well, there's now no doubt that either the team sees OLB as a bigger need now or as a bigger priority than CB. Perhaps, we view CB like we view the G position...just undervalue it?

I do applaud the aggression in this instance even though this guy of severely questionable character.
