Through five games, the Packers defense has only given up two touchdowns in the second half. A garbage score late in the Bears game and then the Cowboys "go-ahead" touchdown under 2 minutes yesterday. The Falcons got a touchdown in the second half on a fumble return score.

This tells me that Dom Capers is making solid adjustments at half-time.


BONUS: Did you notice that Joe Whitt Jr was in the booth and LB assistant coach Scott McCurley was on the sidelines? (I didn't notice either, I heard it on the radio a few days ago)

The Packers gave up a 75 yard INT/Return for a Touch Down against the Bengals. So the Packers TEAM has given up a 20+ yard touchdown. The Packers DEFENSE might be a different story. Just saying.

Also the Packers defense is top 6 in least amount of passing yards given up per game.

They've done well at the end of the game against the bad offenses we faced but a 9 minute drive to give up the lead with barely over a minute left against Dallas and a 5 minute drive (and using 3 TOs) with 6 left down multiple scores against ATL were pretty terrible. Giving up really long drives will keep your points allowed down but also gives our offense less possessions. That's pretty much what other teams WANT to do to us to keep Rodgers off the field as much as possible.

Then again, Randall's pick-six was the first return for a touchdown of any kind the Packers have scored since 2015. 🤬
