When he was running a publicly owned franchise...it is.

If he was to leave the org, then I agree. Oh, how the code of silence is wrangled now. They were a part of it and now are trying to shame those who question. I haven't been disrespectful. I'm angry and upset at what happened.

It now makes me ultra worried about how Davante and Lindsley got their money. WHO made that decision? It wasn't Ted.

Ted was the GM, and he did make those decisions because: TED IS NOT MENTALLY IMPAIRED and everyone around him effing knows it!

In his last several PCs, Ted showed unbelievably strong mental acuity, a brilliance, in answering questions without giving away any proprietary info, just like he always did. This requires a high functioning intellect to do this over and over and not slip-up.

You test mental acuity, by what people are saying, not by the fact that their drooling while doing it.

The only decline I'm referring to with Ted is his brain.

Oh, and Z...MM was just extended 1 year. Did Ted do that, too, now that he's officially not GM? Now, being reported this was done WEEKS ago. So, our unfit mentally compromised GM signed off on an extension. Tells me this ran deep and the plan was inhouse and everyone was on board. I'm more upset than before.

I'm not saying I am/not a fan of his, but Eliot is the highest ranking in the personnel department currently, so if it's an internal hire, I don't understand why Eliot would be leap-frogged.

You're avoiding a simple question. If your claims are true that the media, Mark, etc. all knew Ted had dementia/CTE why did they choose to Ferris Bueller him? What was there to gain?

Nerd brought up good points - a dopey stare in a Vikings game doesn't confirm he has CTE. Could it be? Sure, it could also be overworked, depression, or a simple moment of staring off into space we all do from time to time.

I'm not pining for Eliot. I honestly have no idea how good Brian, Russ, Alonzo, or Eliot are or could be. I'm intrigued by Eliot for the obvious reasons, but readily admit I have no clue if he can do the job well. I'm just referring to the supposed "depth chart."

musccy...you've never been in media. My last post will be this:

Back in the 90's when Doug Woog coached the Minnesota Gophers hockey team, a player, Brian Bonin, made a comment about his playing time. Woog, who got the paper delivered, read what Bonin wrote and knocked on his door early AM and told him if he ever made another comment he'd never see the ice again and be out of the program. Dan Gilbert over at the Star Tribune who covered the Gophers knew of this story... as did others. When asked why he never reported it? He said it was out of respect for the Gophers hockey program and not wanting to paint it in a negative light.

I can only imagine that the Wilde's of the world get off on their chumminess with 1265 and wouldn't dare tarnish the org not only for their sake but just because they feel due reparation for being allowed to be a part of the machine there.

You really don't know how it works. You don't get real stories. Favre stuff was buried for years. The Jenn Sterger stuff was no surprise to many who knew what he was really like. However, it blew people's minds. Not Brett Favre! Look into Mike McCarthy and who he's married to and how that came to be. There are so many stories involving Michael Jordan, Joe Montana, Cal Ripken Jr.,etc that would boggle your mind.

Would leave you with that I promise you information is controlled. The Packers org appreciates your cooperation as a good fan of the team. I promise they do. Without people who don't question and just go along with what they feed you they run a multi million dollar for profit business thanks to those like you. You think a big business like that ain't gonna try to control the flow of negative info from ever seeing the light of day? I can only hope in this case someone with balls blows this wide open so that those of your ilk have no choice but to realize you were played as a dupe.
