It’s a lot of speculation.
Guys throwing stuff at the wall to see what sticks.
It never hurts to check out all possibilities. It doesn’t mean they are REALLY interested.

Anyone wonder if we were always in these talks but just were more private about it?

Then again, I'm still wondering as we know that they have talked once... that doesn't mean they are even in the same state of being in the race to sign them.

Remember, Julius Peppers had a tour and everything and no one knew until VOILA, he signed. I struggle to believe Peppers was the only player to fly under the radar with a tour and talks.

Back when Ted was in charge it didn't pay for the media jackals to even bring it up because everyone would just say "yeah right" now that Gute has said he is going to be more active in FA they throw everybody's name out there because "Yeah maybe"

As far as Robinson goes if I'm going to go after a Jags receiver I'd rather have Lee.

beast (7h) : I believe it's technically against the CBA rules, but Jerry just calls it a simple unofficial chat... and somehow gets away with it.
beast (7h) : Jerry Jones is infamous for ̶n̶e̶g̶o̶t̶i̶a̶t̶i̶n̶g̶ chatting with players one on one... and going around the agent.
Mucky Tundra (14h) : Oo just saw a blurb saying that Dallas negotiated directly with Parsons and not through his agent
Mucky Tundra (14h) : I assumed that both guys will get paid, just a matter of when or how we get there
Zero2Cool (15h) : McLaurin nor Micah going anywhere. They will get money
