His three interceptions were not a good thing. Two of them held little to no bearing on the outcome of the game. One was turned inside the five which Saints scored. That hurt big time. Figure we'd have gotten atleast three points on that drive. That's a ten point swing against us.

The other two. One was picked, we got the ball back. The last one was on fourth down on the 30 yard line. Essentially a punt so no real love loss there.

In fact I think his off target passes hurt us MORE than his interceptions collectively speaking.

From what I saw. I saw a kid who couldn't control his adrenaline to save his puppies life.

He has a helluva cannon and can... CAN make every throw. We're gonna go through more bumps in this road before we really can be satisfied overall with Rodgers.

He's good, but needs to get on track.

I'm not sure what happened with the first interception. Jennings did fall down. But it did look like even if he didn't fall the ball was still out of place. God knows what he was trying to do with the second one. And the last one eh cant really say anything about that one. You mentioned him being off target with some of his passes. Like for example, with that wide open jennings pass which could have been taken to the crib, that he missed. You could definitely tell he was fustrated, but he didn't let that get to him and he took his team down the field for a score. I was impressed with that. Just trying to look at the positives too lol.

That second one had all the markings of a route that was cut off. First one would've been an INT no matter what Jennings did, unfortunately. It was a timing route and the CB jumped it, and Rodgers didn't recognize that. Last one was him needing to make a play (and the WR too) and it just didn't happen. First one was the only one that was a bad QB decision, imo.

I'd agree. Blame the 1st on Rodgers, but the 2nd and 3rd could be excused.

Really though, his offtarget throws were the real issue, as Zero said. The next game will tell how Aaron's maturing as a QB, mentally.

The kid is a first year starter. The "D" could not stop anything. The Packers were down big time and he forced some things. Young QB's will force things when their "D" can not stop anything.

If the "D" kept them in the game Chico would not have been forcing things and two of the picks would not have been.

This was a learning experience for Chico. You will not see him forcing things as a fifth year starter.

I was thinking,

1. The last Green Bay QB used to get all hyped up at the begining of every game and rocket balls way over recievers heads in his younger days. Rodgers doesn't do that every game, 1st year jitters.

2. Most games are won with a score of 29 points....our defense killed us hands down.

He's good and going to get better.
I can't say the same for the defense.

No offense Zero, I agree with you at some points.

Let's consider it's his first year ...

2 of his picks were a do or die int's due to the way the game was going ...

Let's not forget this ... We must not score 52 points in a game to win it it's ridiculous. Defense didn't do nothing Rodgers had to make more throws. We couldn't run no more so they knew it was all pass being down 20 pts.

We all knew Rodgers would have his ups and downs as a young QB. We just expected the rest of the team around him to play at a high enough level that his mistakes would be minimalized. Unfortunately, that hasn't been the case this season.
