It’s not often one of the best young defensive backs in the NFL is potentially available. That could be the case with Miami Dolphins’ second-year player Minkah Fitzpatrick, and the Green Bay Packers should be interested.
Minkah Fitzpatrick is a star, and he could be available in a trade.

Chris Mortensen of ESPN has reported that the Dolphins have granted Fitzpatrick permission to seek a trade. If the Packers could make a deal, it would make their ascending defense even stronger.

I haven't watched Fitzpatrick to see how good he is... or how he fits, but I do feel as the Packers Safeties (or even coverage LB) depth could/should be upgraded.

Right now it looks like we're going to be running a like of dime package with three Safeties and we only have three decent Safety.

So I'm for improving the S /coverage LB depth, though I don't know how Fitz fits especially with his price tag.
