I keep hearing Packers never won at US Bank. Didn't it just open two years ago??

Anyhow, Davlin Cook is out. No one should be surprised.

Per Ryan Schlipp at Packernet Podcast, the benchmarks to beating the Vikings are:
Score more than 14 points. (4-4)
Keep them to 17 first downs or less. (0-4)
Running for less than 100 yards. (1-3)
Don't turn the ball over (0-2)
Get 2 turnovers. (2-3)

Obviously the Packers probably won't hit on every single one of these such as getting 2 turnovers but the more of these that they succeed at the better the odds of winning. Minnesota gets turnovers in nearly game. The only 2 they didn't get a TO was against GB and the bares and they lost both times.

I sure hope the Packers can pull this off.
Losing to the Vikings would suck, beating them would make it a very merry Christmas!

Packers Vikings Preview Second meeting might not be the last.
https://wtaq.com/blogs/news-from-the-pack/98/packers-vikings-preview-9/

Sunday, December 22, 2019 10:17 a.m. by Mark Daniels

The dynamic has changed slightly before the Green Bay Packers meet the Minnesota Vikings Monday night at US Bank Stadium.

Thanks to the San Francisco 49ers beating the Los Angeles Rams 34-31 Saturday night, the Vikings have moved into the NFC playoff field. All that's left to be determined in the NFC is the seeding for the top 3 and the last 2 positions. The Dallas-Philadelphia survivor will claim the East Division title and lock down the 4th seed.

What's still at stake is the North title and a guaranteed home game but the Packers have the upper hand here. By virtue of their 21-16 win over Minnesota back in September and a perfect 4-0 record in division games, Green Bay can lose Monday but still secure the North championship with a victory in Detroit next week.

A Packer victory could also keep them poised to hang on to the number 2 seed and more importantly, earn a weekend off while the Wild Card round teams go at it. Finishing 13-3 would seal no worse than the 2 but climbing to the number one seed got more difficult because of the 49ers victory at home. If Seattle beats Arizona Sunday, number one will be unattainable because the Seahawks and 49ers finish against each other and the winner of that game will have home field advantage throughout, regardless of how the New Orleans Saints finish. Three conference losses spoiled the Saints' chances.

So if it all plays out with favorites prevailing the rest of the way, it looks very much like Monday night's game will only be a prelude to the Packers, as the number 3 seed hosting, guess who?, the Vikings at Lambeau Field on Wild Card weekend.

So let's match up the final Monday night game of the season.

I found this very interesting....and it raises a bunch of questions:

Is a shot at the number two seed worth going all in! I think it does
How hard do you try to win if, beating Detrioit anyway, gets you home ice in a rematch...more specifically, how much of your best plays and schemes should you show? my opinion, why save them! showing them gives opponents more to prepare for and more to think about
As the sense of urgency is somewhat diminished, will it show on the field?.[
We have the frink'n Aaron brothers playing for us. The offense kicks it up a notch and the beloved Packers win 35-10.

Go big or go home.

Well....:the Packers just gave us an early Christmas present!
NFC North CHAMPIONS!!!
Win next week, and a first round bye guaranteed!!!
Our defense was UNBELIEVABLE tonight!
Z-Smith was a MONSTER!

Now we have to beat the Lions, and hope the Seahawks beat the Niners, and we would have the #1 seed!

This is the fourth game this season that the Packers held an opponent under 20 points. The last time they accomplished that feat was the 2006-2007 season.

LB Kendricks going out was huge. More huge than no RB Cook. The three turn overs we gave them equals Cook.

dfosterf (30-Jul) : All I've experienced was late at night or early morning. I just figured you were doing something in the background
Zero2Cool (30-Jul) : Site sure seems to be down more than up
dfosterf (29-Jul) : 50 cent hookers? I'm moving to Green Bay. I thought it was just real estate that was more affordable there. 😂
Zero2Cool (29-Jul) : Sure seems site going down more than 50¢ hooker
Mucky Tundra (27-Jul) : Golden with two TDs in red zone drills today
Mucky Tundra (27-Jul) : @JacobMorley Shoutout to Quinn Ewers for allowing Matthew Golden to be available when Green Bay picked.

Zero2Cool (27-Jul) : if you're on mobile, open the menu and its the "sun" icon
dfosterf (27-Jul) : Can't find the toggle, lol
