My guess is that he's probably like everyone else, jist waiting for other people too...

The NFL STILL has not finalized a 2021 cap number and the head of the committee has said he probably won't until hours before FA.

Teams offers could go up, based on that number. Would you take $5 now, knowing the offers will only go up, and might get $15 if you wait?

They said his best offer was $15 million, my guess is that he rather not sign with that team, otherwise it'd probably be done already.

He's probably hoping some of the other offers improve.

If his most important thing is the money amount, then GB is out of it already in my opinion.
With his age and injury history, I’m torn as to whether or not he’d be a smart investment anyway.
If he’s “over the hill” as a player, then the money would be better spent elsewhere.

Finally, it's over. JJ Watt is signing with the Cardinals. Cardinals sign J.J. Watt to a 2-year, $31M deal. There's that $15-$16 offer!

Yeah, I refused to get sucked into the drama that said he will come to Green Bay. It would have been nice to have him on the same line as Z, Clark and Gary. At least he's some place where the Packers won't face him twice a year.

Well.....looks like getting a ring took a back seat to the size of his bank account.
I really don’t think it’s a big deal. I think he’s WAAAAY past his prime anyway.
When it was first announced that he was freed up, I got excited about it. Then I “woke up” and realized it was for an aging no longer great Watt.
That’s when I backed off the idea of signing him for a younger less costly guy (or guys, at that cost).
It will be interesting to see if he was worth that much money or not.
